Shop Vac 90687 Universal Tool Adapter, 2PCS

I had tried a number of solutions but could not find anything that could combine the outlet of the Delta miter saw and my craftsman shop vac. This fit perfectly and helps keep the dust down in my shop area. I tried contacting Delta for help and they were pathetic and of no help. Very pleased.

This product is good for attaching a variety o things to a vacuum system. Good soft rubber that can be cut or stretched without difficulty.

It would probably be better if there were two separate pieces with one fitting larger sizes and one for smaller sizes, that way it wouldn't have to be so long. For it to fit the larger size, the smaller stepped areas have to fit inside quite a ways. Decent option to adapt to multiple tools, though.

It is working well with my shop vac.

Works great with ridged shop vac

I've often thought there are a lot of tools I'd like to connect to my wet-dry vac, but its hose is too big. Sure, you can 3D-print an adapter or rig something up with duct tape, but these universal reducers do the job properly and for a good price.They are not hard and brittle, they have a little give to them, which should help keep them from crushing or breaking. They also have a lot of different size options on just one adapter, so there is a good chance that these will be able to adapt your vac to the tool of your choice.I had no problem using these with my Ridgid vacuum, they should work with just about any vac except the really small 5 Gallon ones that use a smaller diameter hose.Wet-dry vac accessories cost quite a bit, so I found these to be priced really well, especially since you get two in the package. These are the best way I know of to interface your vac with all manner of tools. If you want to make them permanent, just add a hose clamp.

They fit and the material is easy to cut but they are so flexible, just the weight of the shop vac hose has the thing deforming down. Much movement will pull the hose out. Would work fantastic if it was a little more rigid.

The Shop Vac universal tool adapter fits everywhere I have tried them. This is a really great value for 2 of these, almost 2 for the price of one. They fit on my old Craftsman sander, the dust collector on my radial arm saw, and, as pictured, on the dust shroud for an angle grinder. I used the vac adapter when grinding down a large area of epoxy concrete patch with a diamond wheel and it helped the dust shroud to function extremely well. At one point I resumed grinding without switching on the vacuum, and I got a quick lesson in just how well this adapter worked. Highly recommended for a clean, efficient job well done.
