TIKI PETS Cat Canned Food for Cats, Hawaii Grill Ahi Recipe (Pack of 12 2.8-Ounce Cans)

This has become my cats favorite brand ! I used to get Halo and other brands because o try to do grain free and what is considered healthy for cats - but price really went up and when checked on ingredients it was less than ideal. This brand has less additives and especially this flavor my cat loves - and it still brings variety. I feed him only seafood and grain free diet. He loves the tuna and in each can of this brand there are a couple mini shrimp as well. These are large cans, but a better value than the smaller ones. I feed my large Siamese cat about half a can of this with some dry food (trout based). The wet food is his favorite and I also found his poo doesn’t smell as bad with this brand as others. Wet food like this also helps hydrate your cat- especially when they aren’t drinking enough water. I want to make note that one time in a pack of Tiki cat wet food I got one can was already open. :/ didn’t have time to complain at the time !!! I also advise not to buy this food used- and once opened to seal the csn with aluminum foil or in a zip lock and refrigerate until next use. But the cans sealed are fine in room temperature!

Very high quality it seems. Cat likes it. Il probably buy it again. Very good cat food.

My cat loves this brand of cat food, but especially anything that has sardines! We have tried other brands and that don't measure up to the quality of this product. Her coat is shiny and soft, her teeth are healthy and gums are pink, and her energy is great! We particularly like purchasing this in bulk on Amazon to have it delivered to our door before we run out--otherwise we'll have a "hangry" kitty on our hands! :)

Out of the 40 cans I purchased, only 15 cans were intact. 25 cans were dented, some with HUGE dents in them. This seller is a scam, DO NOT PURCHASE. EDIT: I purchased a set of the smaller 2.8oz cans and all turned out fine, so increased from a 1 star to 3 star rating. Will monitor to see if the problem was limited to the 1st batch of 6oz cans I received and adjust my rating accordingly. EDIT 2: Bought another batch of 2.8oz cans and 8 out of 24 were dented again! Horribly inconsistent packaging

My cat has gotten significantly healthier since I switched to this wet food. I researched cat foods with taurine and found this and one other. She will only eat pureé, so I use the braun hand mixer which fits perfectly into the can opening, and whiz it up. She eats nearly half the can twice a day (little porker). If there is any left over, I refridgerate her plate, adding a small amount of water to the outer perimeter to keep the edges from drying out. She won't eat that. If it's all the same moistness, she eats it all. There are BIG chunks of fish in there, and at first I put that on her dish and she ate them. Now she's being a princess and wants it pureéd. It's not packed with water. That's fish goo. She loves it. Me, not so much. But it does make for a nice even creamy puree. At the time I decided to find wet food, she had bumps forming on her nose with scabs, and her fur wasn't looking good near her tail on her back. Thin and scruffy. I also got Purina liver-flavor pwd probiotics and Taurine, which has make a huge impact. Between this delectable wet food, and the pwd, my girl is one happy cat! It's effectively changed her coat for the better, and put weight back on her. She was looking like she was going into Kidney failure, so with some proactive research and dietary changes, we turned that around. The smell is not bad at all, as far as I am concerned. It's a bit pricey, sure, but a LOT less than a vet bill, and money cannot bring a cat back from the dead, either, so--there's that.
