Huge disappointment!
Tried both 20x80 and 7x50. The 20x80 were unusable and the 7x50 just about usable but very uncomfortable. This is due to the huge eyecups that do not allow a good IPD position. The 20x80 I couldn’t get at all and the 7x50 I had to rest eyecups on ridge of nose. Very odd feeling and very uncomfortable. I really wanted these to work for me but despite the amazing build quality and optics they are unfortunately no good and unfit for purpose. Celestron what is going on with these? You state min IPD as 56mm and I’m 62mm and it’s absolutely no good due to the eyecup design. So disappointed and have to return. Maybe if Celestron re-design the eyecups I’ll buy again.

Good but a bit heavy.
Not many porro style ED binoculars out there and they cost a good bit more than this offering from Celestron, wide FOV , crisp optics , solid build, neck strap is a bit basic as far as padding goes however the case in very good. A very good value at this price point , minor negative is the weight, clearly not a binocular for taking on long hikes. I would buy again. One star deleted as I needed to clean spots of a greasy substance of one of the objective lenses.

Perfect for astronomy and more
As a relative newbie in the world of amateur astronomy, I wanted to start with binoculars. But not just any binoculars, I wanted to choose ones that would #1, give me an incredible view of the night sky and #2, last for years.First off, the clarity on the SkyMaster Pro 7x50 ED is incredible. They are perfectly collimated and I get sharp images and no annoying color fringing along the edge of the moon you might see with lesser binoculars. The Orion nebula is a favorite thing to view but I also enjoy the planets and learning the constellations. What I didn’t expect is that I have also found myself grabbing these during the day to check out wildlife and birds near my house. And thanks to their small size compared to other astro binoculars, I can actually see myself taking these to the lake, spotting boats, or camping. Now, let’s talk price. Yes, these binoculars are on the pricier side, but you do get what you pay for. The build quality and the optics are top notch. They are comfortable to use and hold. The housing is sturdy and waterproof. Basically they’re built to last. A couple of wishlist items: it would be awesome if these came with the tripod adapter included and maybe include a couple of basic filters to start with, but these are inexpensive items I can pick up myself for a few bucks. I haven’t felt the need to mount them on a tripod yet, they are easy to use without one.Overall, if you’re looking to dive into astronomy and want a quality binocular to learn the sky, I really recommend these. They’re just plain fun to use.

Superb Optics
I purchased my pair of 7x50s for wide field astronomical use and I am very happy with them, stars are very sharp when placed in the center field of view and then there is a very gradual degradation of the image starting from about 50% out to the very edge of field, very good for a wide field binocular, FoV is 7.8 degrees.Stars are bright and the large 50mm aperture allows this in combination with the 7.1mm exit pupil, everything really pops into view and its a pleasant experience. These are also great for terrestrial and birding, color reproduction is very bright and vibrant thanks to the ED glass.Haven't noticed any color fringing as of yet for either day or night time use. Eye relief is good and they are comfortable to use.Eye caps are adjustable and filters can be screwed into them if desired. My only criticism is the chunky eye caps, they seem to be a bit on the large size.At this price point you are getting great value for money, highly recommended.

High quality
These things are worth the extra cost over the base Celestron binos. These are very good for astronomy with the larger prisms, larger exit pupils. Also the coatings, baffling, focusers, build quality...etc. You are getting a heck of a value for the price...even if its higher than the base models. I would have a hard time justifying a more expensive brand over these as I can't imagine it would be that much better. The optics give a razor sharp image with no Chromatic Aberration that I can detect.

Great seeing
Great binoculars! They are just the right weight and size to strap around your neck and look up at the night sky, especially the Milky Way. Star clusters and nebula areas pop out and the image is slightly better than the regular Pro binoculars. The only issue I had was when the first pair came, the two barrels were stuck together and could not move to adjust to your eyes with, however I returned them and the second pair was able to do that no problem.
