R2D2 Alarm Clock - Perfect Decor for Star Wars Fans - USB Cable Included - 13 cm (5") Tall

I love this R2D2 clock. It looks great in my R2D2 kitchen. The alarm is all R2 sounds and it comes with a usb cable. I used a usb adapter for an outlet so I could plug it into the wall outlet. The light looks great and is easy to see. The clock and alarm are hard to set at first. It does not set like any other alarm clock. Read the directions first and then it will be easy to set. What the directions do not say is how to turn off the alarm when it goes off. It does not stop, you have to press the B button to shut the sounds off every time.

You set the time using the big, square blue buttons on the sides near the top. They are a functional part of the design. I did not realize this for several minutes.

It's awesome! Works great, perfect size, name brand. My only issue with it is that the alarm isn't as loud as I'd prefer it and you can't turn up the volume. I'd say it's worth the price but it's not quite worth 5 stars.

My 7 year old son needed an alarm clock to wake up for school in the morning and wasn’t looking forward to it, but once I got him this clock he was very excited. The buttons take a bit of getting used it, but it has the sounds of R2D2 as the alarm, not too loud, and he gets up every morning without delay. Would absolutely buy again!

Unfortunately this adorable little alarm clock that my 9 year old son wanted SO badly, didn’t work. The first one (and 2nd replacement) both had the issue of not staying powered up even long enough to set the clock! Of course we had it plugged into the wall, but even so, the clock display would quickly go black/turn off. I wondered if it had a battery compartment, but alas, no—only USB provided cable for power. I also wondered if it needed to “charge up,” and left it overnight. That didn’t work either. I really tried pretty much everything to get BOTH the cute clocks to work for my son, but I finally had to give up and return them! By the second replacement, I had to just concede to the fact that it must just be defective in general. The product is SUPER lightweight, FYI. We’re both SUPER bummed that it didn’t work!! Photos are of the 2nd replacement I received—that’s a display sticker btw—don’t think I actually caught it working! The other option (Minecraft?) may work much better!!

Who doesn’t love Star Wars ? This is cute , small and works so well for the quality that it is and worth the money!

It’s really small and the buttons are confusing. I read a review that said theirs didn’t work as it would shut off and not ‘charge’. I had the same problem and realized that my usb cable was the doubles. When I switched it out it works as expected. When it comes unplugged it resets completely and you have to reset everything. I bought this for my 7 year old for school so I have to reset it often and it’s very frustrating. My daughter has another alarm clock that was $12 and it keeps the setting even if it gets unplugged. The sound is also very quiet and take a few minutes to get louder. Set the alarm for a few minutes before you need to get up if you’re a heavy sleeper. This won’t wake you. It’s also super light so it falls off the table easily too because the cord and usb connector are too heavy for it. My son loves R2 otherwise I would have returned it. Too expensive for me.
