The squirrels will thank you
I got this for my brother in law’s birthday. I started to second guess myself on the way to the party and was cringing when it came time to open gifts. It was by far the most popular gift! It brought a lot of laughter from everyone! Several people asked me where I purchased it.Word spread quickly & it didn’t take long before this was the neighborhood squirrel’s coolest & hippest hangout their fluffy tails have ever seen… Rumor has it even a few birds & bunnies have passed by to see what all the hype has been about. The quality is better than I was expecting. I believe it will last through many generations of squirrel families. What are you waiting for? Just order it! I’m ordering another one for myself too.

really cute addition to our squirrell picnic table
We've been feeding the squirrels for a few years now with a picnic table and I can't wait to deploy this one alongside it. I have to wait because we have some serious bear issues in our area and we need to wait until December 1st at least to make sure they've begun their hibernation/torpor. As soon as they do, all the feeders are put out! This is really cute and overall looks pretty sturdy. I wonder why the plexi panels are so short as it will make things weird when it comes to filling the bins.I will not be hanging it with the flimsy triangle shaped hooks at the top as that looks like a recipe for disaster just waiting to happen. We will screw this to something secure.I have had to clean our table many times so I'm interested to see how dirty and scummy this one gets with use (birds, squirrels, chippies, an the occaisional bear cub). Overall it looks really fun and I can't wait to see who enjoys it.Update: It's now past December 1st and we've had this up for over a week. Today is the first day that anyone has tried to use the nut bar. Our squirrels are WAY too big for the stools and seem to like to access it from above. They also figured out how to either remove the plexi or it magically moved sideways and opened up one of the bays. We screwed it to a piece of wood that is affixed to the tree, in hopes that it will hold up longer than had we used the very flimsy hooks that come with it. Seriously, get rid of those. The plexi should be more firmly in the bays than it is, so the squirrels and gravity can't move them.Additionally, if you get this, take the stickers off the plexi immediately. We waited until installation and they were very, very hard to peel off.

Poorly constructed
A cute design that falls apart quickly. I put it up on a tree and thought the squirrels were pulling the the windows out but that was not the case. They simply fall out. I keep finding them on the ground. At first I was putting them back in but gave up on that. One of the shelves to hold the treats was put in at an odd angle. I am unable to right it. I am so disappointed!

The nut bar is officially open
Just finished mounting the product. It is very sturdy. I can’t wait to see the animals in action. I hope they love it as much as I do.

Not well made!
At first glance I thought it was adorable, but I did have my doubts about it surviving a South Dakota winter. However, it didn't survive hanging it up! The little hangars (photo on the left) couldn't hold the feeder up and immediately came off the back of the feeder! We ended up drilling holes and nailing it up! Now I'm worried about it even holding a squirrel! Stay tuned for that trial!

Looks great but feeder not Squirrel proof
Great design, decent quality, looks great and good sturdiness except for the plastic windows. The squirrels actually just push them in. It came already assembled so that's a plus. Overall looks great in the backyard but useless. They knock the windows out daily and the squirrels keep eating the wood. Waste of money.

Fun and Functional
I like to feed everyone, and this feeder is so cute. It is a meeting place of the local squirrels and jays. It was mostly put together when it arrived. I don't like screwing things into trees, so mine is hanging from a chain wrapped around large branches - this makes it a little unstable since it now does not sit flush against the trunk. That does not deter the barflies. Once the first Blue Jay comes to the Nut Bar, it's like a siren call to everyone else. The bottom opening is perfect for peanuts - the lid never gets lifted. They also don't sit on the 'barstools.' The only drawback is that the thing gets emptied in minutes - the locals here are very efficient about their foraging!
