**Q: Is the bottom of the pan enameled? I cook on a glass top stove.**
A: No, like all Le Creuset it is a fully cast iron pan with a ceramic coating on the inside of the pan. I have a glass top stove and own at least 5 Le Creuset pieces and have never had a problem.

**Q: What are the dimensions including the width of the handle?**
A: Measurements from end to end of pan is (includes both handles) 17 1/4" long, small handle is 1 1/2", big handle is 5" long, pan itself is 10" wide and 3" deep.  The end of the long handle is 1 1/2" wide. Lid is 1 1/2" high not including knob handle.  Lid knob is 1/2" high.  Hope this helps.

**Q: How tall is it without the lid?**
A: Approximately 3.25 inches tall without the lid

**Q: Can this be used in the oven?**
A: Yes. It can be used up to 450 or 500 degrees.
