This was a short fun little read. I read it over a few days, but I think it'd be best to read in one sitting on a rainy day. The book/story it's self didn't frighten me. It was the idea of something dissolving a human that was frightening.Would I risk death for hope?I don't know. The real question is that if I was stuck in this situation would I erase my memory on ourpose after reading a book so I coukd experience it for the first time again and again? ... nah surely not.. surely the memory of that first experience is better than the experience itself because the memory is me.

A haunting, enjoyable little book.
It will stay in my mind for a long time. The writing was excellent too. Can't wait to read more from this author.
