I just measured them, and each kibble is just under 1/4 inch around, and smaller than that from top to bottom. If you still had concerns for your tiny kitten, you could probably rinse the kibbles with a bit a water that you then drain off, just to soften them. (My opinion.) You could even ask a vet what they recommend. We fed these to our new kitten from the start, when we got her at 9 weeks old. I was looking for a dry food rich in probiotics because both my bengals have a sensitive stomach and have diarrhea and gas when they eat other kibble. This kibble not only helped drastically decrease my kittens’ digestive issues, but it also is the perfect size for their kitten teeth and easy to chew when teething. And as I already mentioned, they love this food. They gobble it up as soon as their feeder goes off. I’d say the price for a 4 lb bag is comparable to other brands.
