Germoloids Ointment 25ml

This is a subject we do not talk about and we often (myself included) make jokes about - however having been in some really serious pain I thought I had to write and say that this worked amazingly for me - to be frank - it was the first time in that after - well you know what I am talking about - i was not then left to sit for several hours in pain. I used another brand of treatment and they basically did nothing for the pain - but this did - I also bought the suppositories same thing - no pain. Also the packaging on the suppositories was much easier to open than the other brand I bought - and to be honest you really don’t want to be stressing with opening packaging on things like that - So wrote this review as I would highly recommend this brand to just basically work quickly and well and basically help deal with an embarrassing issue without fuss and wanted to help others also get some relief as quickly as possible.

Well...what should I say...let's start with it being a week of painful irritation for me. I got all the usual symptoms of this embarressing condition. After doing some research I discovered that this was possibly the cream for me. I could not wait for it to arrive and give me some relief. I noticed there were a few concerns with other people about burning and irritation sensations, but others said it worked almost immediately and boy, did I need some instant relief. Son I took the plunge, bought it, applied it, and spent several hours with a burning bum, until my next application. The next application I got the burning sensation and the irritation, there was no relief, it seemed to be worse than ever. For some reason I had put it down to the piles, I had never experienced it before and thought it was normal. I spent the next few days going through this. Sometimes, I had to jumped straight in the bath, after the application, because the burning and irritation was so great that I wanted to cry. I could bearly walk Nevermind sitting down. It got to a point that I was having to have some ibuphrophen to help with the pains. Then I discovered what was going on. The burning sensation had creates blisters, the continuation of the application was also popping these blisters resulting in split and open skin which I assume was the irritation. When I went into the bath I had put Epsom salts in to try for some added instant relief, but mistake. I immediately started to put on some barrier cream, this was painful too. It was a horrendous time of pain and humiliation. I couldn't go out anywhere and my teenage kids were getting worried.Unbeknown to me, because of what was going on, the cream had worked. But because of the pain I was still getting I was still applying it 5 days later thinking that maybe it wasn't working.So the moral of the story is, if you are getting side effects, please stop the application immediately. Do not think it won't work, just think that it's not the cream for you and you need something different. Don't wait until I did and dont ignore it. Like I said it did work, I just don't know when it worked.

I’ve always found this to be a good ointment the only down side is that it tends to be a little messier than the cream ,but that’s only a minor inconvenience which you can easily get around .

This ointment is brilliant and works fast. The lidocaine helps pain very quickly and it has camphor to give slightly cooling/soothing feeling too. I sometimes use this before the suppository to make it a bit easier. I would say that this ointment is brilliant but avoid the cream, the cream did practically nothing for me. Totally different.

Purchased for my wife. Here are her comments. 'Held out so much hope with this but made things exceptionally worse and no relief whatsoever - the worse it's ever been. Had and was expecting much more but in the end it was normal vaseline that helped. Would just use the normal creams in future.

Instant pain relief, thank god! Using a different ointment yesterday - didn't seem to do anything. So happy when this arrived and found out it works in a cooling way. Yet to discover if the shrinking effect works...

If you suffer with piles this is a must have.It works at reducing the size hemorrhoids and has a nice medicinal smell.I always keep a tube in for when i need it
