Impressed by the high quality appearance of this frothier. The outside is a soft sort of matte grip. The handle positions up or down, which is nice for storage when not using. There is a nice plug for cord attachment and that is nice when you’re washing this to help keep water out for further use. I haven’t had this long but I suspect it’ll work fine for my uses a few times a week! Milk comes out foamy and it works fast, but I wouldn’t say I’m blown away by how foamy the milk gets. Works well for the price you pay as it was on the cheaper end of frontiers! I’d recommend to those starting out and those who won’t overuse.

UPDATE: This broke after a month. The piece that holds the whisk and makes it spin broke. It was a plastic piece over metal that cracked in half. Totally worthless now. I’m very disappointed in how little use we got out of it for the price point.It makes enough froth in one go for both my and my husband’s morning coffee. It gets very fluffy and heats nicely. It’s easy for me to clean, but a little more difficult for my husband due to his larger hands. I haven’t used the cold froth setting, but it’s a nice option to have.

It's a great little device. I use it all the time and love it. But it's not really easy to clean, because you have to dance around or remove the whisk. Two pieces make-up the whisk. There's the whisk itself and a small piece that the whisk sits on. That little inside piece is subject to break easily. That's the one thing I don't like about this product. I broke 3 in less than 4 months. However, you can buy a whisk replacement part, which I have done, which has both pieces, and life is worth frothing again.

I read all the great reviews and was excited about it.Unfortunately it was a disappointment.I filled the milk up to the max line, nonetheless it spilled over creating a mess.The time said it takes 90-150 seconds to froth but in reality it took nearly 4 minutes to do so. And the capacity isn't enough for a full macchiato as you can see in my picture. That's including an espresso cup worth of coffee in the cup with the milk and foam. :(If I wanted to make two cups for company and myself I'd have to foam 4 cycles.The foam was great and consistent so it's not a 1 star and if you only drink cappuccino I guess it would be enough.The spinning thing that foams it cracked after the third use, then broke completely after a few more tries.And now it won't even come on at all anymore.I have no way of contacting the seller as my return window has closed as well. Smh

Okay, so at first I loved this frother. It did everything I wanted and worked great. But after just about a month or two, the part that froths broke off. It's fragile and annoying, just a tiny piece of plastic and metal, but metal like the size of a sewing needle. Not sturdy. The other issue I have is that it ALWAYS burns milk at the bottom and I have to scrape it off. Otherwise I get little chunks of burt milk floating in my lattes. Gross. Just go with something different. This one isn't worth it.

I use a frothier daily. I have used one with a base. This one is smaller . I the whisk comes out very easy so be careful when cleaning. I have rescued it from my garbage disposal a few times. I’m glad you get a spare. It does take a bit longer for the milk to whip. I found the customer support to be very helpful.UpdateAfter 2 months this unit stopped working

The media could not be loaded.  Love the ease of use, and how fast the milk heats, hot warm or cold. When I forth my milk it gives me nice fluffy foam. And when I just heat up my milk the substance is just thick enough. I've had it since August and it still works like new. It's nice to be able to rotate the handle that way it fits close to the wall we're not in use. I will get my sister one for Christmas.

I was contemplating at buying a $250 coffee machine that I had seen at a friend’s house but I’m the only coffee drinker in my house and that’s a bit steep $$ for one person.Through reading reviews I came across this product that’s very small in size- can only make one cup at a time- but also doesn’t take much space and has enough functions for my needs from hot frother to cold frother to cappacino and latte. So far I’m really enjoying using it to make several servings in a day for myself. Seriously considering buying one for my work place as well.
