Great product! (with one caveat)
I enjoy my Nanopresso and was excited about the upgrade of using pods, to enhance portability and simplify cleanup. The large quantity and percentage of very positive reviews seemed like confirmation and I ordered this without hesitation. I was both confused and irritated when the adapter I ordered failed to function (would not pressurize and would often blow the foil seal off of the pods. I felt that there were too many reviews for this to be user experience and ordered a duplicate adapter, thinking that perhaps I had received a dud. Sure enough, the new version worked flawlessly and is exactly what I was looking for. Side-by-side comparison revealed what appears to be an assembly error. It appears that the plate that is designed to sit against the foil on the pod may have been inverted on the original item, as it did not have the raised profile of the functional version. So, that would be one one caveat. If you purchase and are having issues, there is a small possibility that the item you bought has a manufacturing error. Overall, this adapter is great and I now use it almost exclusively, if I'm using my Nanopresso.

Easiest espresso maker ever!
We absolute love this item! Compact, efficient, and super easy to use, it makes the perfect 2 ounce espresso shot we need for our Monday Night Cocktails. Clean up is a snap (it takes longer to dry it than it does to clean it). Highly recommend!

Revitalized my faith in the Nanopresso
I'm a real espresso snob. I roast my own beans and have a prosumer machine at home. I won't step foot in a Starbucks. I've owned the Nanopresso for over two years now and have had a love-hate relationship with it. It's frustrating with how finicky the Barista kit double basket can be. Even minor changes to grind, volume, and roast can lead to a complete fail. I was getting very tired of taking the Nanopresso traveling with my wife because of the inconsistency, as well as the time it takes to hand grind. So, I decided to give the NS adaptor a try. After all, consistency should be much better with capsules, and the grinding is already done for me, right? So, I just tried it out on the cheapo Target brand capsules, since that's all I could find while I wait for some more premium stuff to ship in, and I have to say: I'm floored. The quality of the espresso rivals my $2500 Italian machine. Crema, taste, body, etc. is all on point. And it was so easy and quick. I'll be able to make 4 shots with this in the time it used to take me to just hand grind a single shot. And cleanup is easy with no mess or fuss with grinds. With the NS adaptor, I'm once again excited to take my Nanopresso traveling. Wish I had done this a year ago.

Great with Nespresso Brand Capsules
The NS adapter works great with Nespresso capsules, but be very careful with off brands as the Nanopresso does not seem to produce sufficient pressure to break the foil seals. I use a pin to pre puncture the seal and then everything works. It does produce sufficient pressure to produce a nice cup of espresso with consistent crema. The adapter is slightly longer than the standard portafilter so it does not fit in the case with the adapter.

Convenient!
Works with standard and "lungo" nespresso capsules. If you want to make a standard "American sized" 8oz cup of coffee, you'll want to buy the "Barista kit" that has the larger water containers and use a lungo capsule. Then just add some hot water to your cup to get to the desired quantity, and it's about on par with mid range drip coffee. Overall this is a very convenient way to make coffee on the go. No fuss, no mess, very little water. Everything is self contained. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the quality/taste of coffee that comes out of Nespresso capsules in general, but it's no fault of this kit.

GREAT way to make wonderful espresso with less mess!
Why is Amazon asking me to rate the "Warmth" of this item?!! ANYway, this is a really great adapter which allows you to make Nespresso shots of your choice without the mess of the standard portafilter/basket and coffee grounds. I wanted a quicker way to prepare espresso while on the road, and this is it! If I have plenty of time in the morning, I enjoy the ritual of using my little hand grinder and putting my own coffee beans in, grinding it just right, pouring it into the basket, and using the double-shot adapter for my Nanopresso to make a really great espresso. This is arguably the best quality coffee you're going to get. BUT, if you take the time to try out a few different Nespresso pods and get to know the differences, you'll be able to make some excellent espresso for yourself with minimal cleanup. Pro Tip: Get the "Wacaco Nanopresso Case, Protective Case for Nanopresso with Adapter Ring and Large Water Tank from Barista Kit, Large Size" - this will give you extra space to place two cartridges in the bottom of the case, as well as one inside the water tank! Since Nespresso pods can get dented and damaged very easily, this seems like the most simple way to keep a few spares protected before use. If you recycle your pods, you can also put an empty one in the water tank to dispose of later. Pro Tip #2: Nespresso sells a few types of pods which have a higher concentration in them - meaning that you can add hot water after pulling the shot, and it'll essentially give you a double shot using one pod! I can't verify the caffeine content, but the "Lungo" pods are made to create a 3.7oz "shot" and the standard pods are for 1.35oz shots. So just make one Lungo, add some hot water to it, then add your sweetener or creamer and you're all set! Pro Tip #3: Buy your pods from a Nespresso store if possible. You'll find they are less often dented or damaged than those which are shipped. I'd like to credit my coworker for letting me know that this little adapter existed - it's made our snobby espresso tendencies much more seamless! ;-)

Broke After a Handful of Uses
UPDATE July 2023: Wacaco replaced the broken component on the pod adapter (I'll note that the replacement part took a while to ship and arrived smelling like a chemical factory) after which it worked for a couple of weeks until the pump mechanism on the main module completely failed and stopped holding pressure/pumping water at all, rendering the entire $110+ device useless. Given this, I'm not increasing my rating. It's a great idea/concept, but the execution/build quality is just abysmal, especially given the price point. ---------------------------------- I'll preface by saying that while my Nanopresso NS worked I really loved it, and if it hadn't broken I'd be leaving a very different review. I bought this adapter to go with my Nanopresso and after a couple of weeks and a handful of uses, two large pieces of plastic spontaneously and simultaneously flaked off the portafilter component of the top. I finished pulling a shot, unscrewed the adapter to clean it, and out of the device fell a piece of plastic from the threaded attachment wall and the outflow nozzle itself, which had flaked directly across the attachment point. On closer examination, the plastic on the component that shed these pieces looks really different from the plastic on the other components -- lighter and sort of dry/brittle looking. Putting aside the fact that this is sort of alarming for plastic materials that come into contact with hot water, it does suggest some kind of manufacturing flaw. I am currently in contact with Wacaco trying to get a replacement part covered by the warranty. If that effort succeeds and the replacement part proves higher quality, I will update this review. For now obviously I cannot recommend the device.
