I’ve been making tiny jute bowls with 5 mm jute.. all adequate, but this brand is excellent quality. Tightly wound, easy to use, different from the others. More shades of color would be great; a warmer purple, a light blue green aqua, a light lilac, brightest white, a light peachy pink. The width is 4.5 mm. Good but I sort of like the 5 mm for larger size bowls. Anyway, I will be buying more.

I used it like I would jute twine and the thickness was perfect for the project I was working on.

Just what I needed to rewrap the cactus style cat scratchers. Next time I may use the 6mm.

The roll I received had a very strong smell of oil and gasoline, most likely from manufacturing. I'm not too sensitive about smells but this was strong enough to pick up from a foot away. We've left it outside for several days where it will catch a breeze which reduced it somewhat but my spouse refuses to use it indoors for our cat.I'd call it a 3 star item for that purpose. However I'll give it one back because I get to keep it for myself and for crafts around the garage and garden where the smell is unimportant this is a fine roll of twine. I especially like how neat and easy to work with it is, very few loose strands and strings.
