At first, I was looking at cheaper ones and quickly noticed that most of them had poor reviews and a lot of the reviews mentioned how they easily tour (I suppose I shouldn't be surprised). As soon as I noticed that trend with the cheaper covers, I started thinking to myself that maybe I should think about spending just a little bit more money and get a decent quality one. That's when I came across the Marline brand. To be honest, I have never heard of it before but based on the reviews (four a half stars) and with the majority of them being positive. I decided to give this brand a shot, and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised! The quality of the cover seems to be very well made. I'm not sure about the waterproofness yet, because it hasn't rained here in New York yet since I got it. Although, it did rain quite a bit prior to me purchasing the cover (go figure). My bike isn't anything too special. I mean, I think I paid just over $85 for it at Walmart a few years ago. But still, I'd like to keep it looking decent for as long as I can. The big test for me will be during the winter to see how it handles the colder temperatures and snow. I'm hoping that it doesn't rip from excessive snow buildup. Of course, that will be up to me to make sure too much snow doesn't build up on the cover and weigh it down too much against the bike which may cause tearing. Overall, I have to say I'm pretty satisfied, and I will recommend this bike cover to all my family and friends to keep their bikes in pristine condition during inclement weather.
