Nice antenna works very well with the Radtel Radio Range, and also for a portable scanner. It works so well that I ended up buying 3 for my radios. As a substitute antenna for the one that came with my radios, I definitely notice a far better RX (Receive) with this antenna. The Connector is SMA, but if you need to, you can purchase a BNC adaptor on Amazon

Great product

Antenna performs well on the Site master but poorly with the Radtel RT-470X handset. I don't think the antenna is the problem, the results speak for themselves. It outperformed a similar ICOM antenna.

Well made, better reception than stock antenna

The Radtel is a fine antenna between 108 - 137 MHz, and serves acceptably well for FM BC band and even up to 2m. I use a mag mount with a baking tray for a ground plane, placed on an upstairs window ledge.

Excellent value the quality is good. and works very well on hand held radios and scanners it's better than the standard rubber duck antenna often supplied with handy style of radio

Item had been folded to get in to package. But it did not seam any better than the shorter stock antenna that came with radio. Returned as unusable.

As others have said the antenna was packed coiled up. The original antenna sleeve is straight but somewhere along the line the sleeve gets coiled up and stuffed into a small bag before being shipped. Upon opening it is obviously not straight. I imagine that if I expend enough time and effort I may be able to straighten it somewhat, but I'm not happy about this. BTW I did notice that this antenna is exactly half the price of the Retevis RHD771, which I also own, and which is correctly packed uncoiled; also, the two look identical in a side by side comparison, apart from the company names. As for quality and performance. I couldn't tell you as I've only just started my err Ham Radio Journey.

Antena não é boa. SWR acima de 5 na banda aérea.

Ich nutze die Antenne in Kombination mit einem Handfunkgerät für den Flugfunkbereich und bin ehrlich gesagt positiv überrascht. Im direkten Vergleich zur mitgelieferten Standardantenne ist der Unterschied klar hörbar. Der Empfang ist spürbar stabiler und vor allem deutlich klarer. Frequenzen im Bereich 118–136 MHz kommen sauber rein, selbst schwächere Signale sind jetzt wesentlich besser verständlich. Gerade Tower- und Ground-Frequenzen lassen sich damit deutlich angenehmer verfolgen, ohne ständiges Rauschen oder Abbrüche. Auch die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig – die Antenne sitzt fest, hat eine angenehme Länge und ist flexibel genug, ohne billig zu wirken. Für den mobilen Einsatz absolut geeignet. Für alle, die mit einem Handgerät Flugfunk empfangen möchten, ist das hier ein echtes Upgrade gegenüber der Standardantenne. Preis-Leistung passt meiner Meinung nach sehr gut. Klare Empfehlung 👍
