These are quite cool. I took them with me on a hiking trip and it was nice to have them for both the recreational aspect and just the fact that they could potentially get me out of trouble, if needed. They seem really well made, but I think the design could be greatly improved by making the handle a bit more comfortable versus useful (more for the recreational aspect). I definitely will need to adjust to throwing these. It's not like throwing axes at your typical indoor axe throwing venue. That said, it does not mean anything bad necessarily. Just means they are on the smaller end, but that brings its own element of fun. Like a more dangerous, primitive version of darts. They also carry well on a hike, which I love.

Great for beginners... family time

Smaller sized, but not too small...big hands can throw these. Good weight, not too light; all metal, so no worry about breaking plastic handles; stick well in end-grain target (and the target frame, and the logs the target sits on, and oops, the tree behind the target). Seriously, though...great set that has proven quite useful for improving my aim.I never write reviews, so the fact I've taken the time to do this should indicate how pleased I am with these axes.

These Axes are lightweight and stick very well. They are well worth money. And very, very sharp perfectly balanced.

I bought this set for my sons 25th birthday. He threw them with his brothers for around 30 minutes or so. One of the axe handles snapped in half. You could tell it had a defect in the forging of it. I am purchasing another set because he loved the way they handled and the overall look and feel of the axe. I will update my review if the second set holds up.

I really like this trowing axe/knife set. Yes, they are very small and thin. If you have ever ready any books on knife or axe throwing (especially Harry K. McEvoy) they talk about using knifes and axes that are 3-4 times larger than what is in the box. However, this does not make this a bad set. Just small. It is still a blast to use and practice with. I would say using this set and a larger set will make you a more versitile thrower.

Bought this set for my grandson for christmas. Lasted about 4 months before the first ax shattered into more than 6 pieces handle and head. He allowed a friend to throw one who missed the target and hit the wooden stand instead. Very disappointed in the quality.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great set. They came wrapped in greasy plastic, but after cleaning them up, they look great! They are made well and are good quality. Sheathes have a lot of Velcro, so are noisy. Keep that in mind if that’s an issue for you. See my video review for more details.
