Bought this as a day-by-day pregnancy guide and it’s been really helpful. The format makes it easy to check progress without feeling overwhelmed, and the illustrations make it more engaging than a text-heavy book. Pros: easy to follow, practical info, nice illustrations, good for first-time parents Cons: some info may feel general if you already know a lot Bottom line: A great companion book for tracking pregnancy milestones and learning as you go.

My husband and I have just started trying for a baby, so I bought this book for us to both read, and WOW! Such a beautiful book with a wealth of information. I love how there's interesting things to read about baby all 280 days of pregnancy, and I love how there's a ton of pages on labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. This would also be an amazing gift for a newly pregnant mom or someone beginning their TTC journey.

This book has been my daily companion throughout pregnancy. The illustrations, detailed explanations, and week-by-week updates are so helpful and reassuring. It makes the journey feel more exciting and informed. I love flipping through each day—truly a wonderful resource!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book!!! IT IS WAAAY BETTER THAN THE WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN EXPECTING book!!! I used it for both of my pregnancies 3y ago and 19m ago and totally enjoyed reading about what my little one was doing THAT day. My hubby and I read it every night as it corresponded to the pregnancy day. When I delivered my first at 38wks 3days I wrote her birthday on the page leaf for that day. With my son, he came at 40wks and 1 day. I totally loved all the information that the book provided about nutrition, what I may be feeling, WHAT THE BABY WAS DOING AND LOOKING LIKE IN UTERO that day! The photos are AMAZING!! It was so reassuring and it told me what I should be asking my doctor at that visit and/or what tests are usually done and why. Really great book. I have a good friend who’s daughter is pregnant and I thought about loaning her my book but decided against it because it really is better for her to have her own book to make notes in, etc. So I bought this one for her. I hope they never stop making it. As for mine, I’ll hand it down to my daughter when she starts her family. Overall, I TRIPLE recommend it!!

I borrowed this book from my local library and liked it so much that I decided to purchase it on Amazon. It’s full of helpful, no nonsense and thorough information from medical experts. I’ve found it so helpful as a first time mom-to-be. Reading day by day information helps me feel empowered on what to expect throughout this journey. I recommend it to anyone going through their pregnancy who’s looking for a reliable and detailed resource full of facts.

First of all, I do love this book and have used it for my last three pregnancies. One thing I will say, however, is that I really wish they would do a reprint with the weekly photos moved to the correct weeks. It’s super annoying when I finally get to the next week milestone and then am forced to flip back several pages if I want to see the picture that corresponds with the week I am actually at. For example, when you get to 10 weeks, it shows a large detailed photo of an 11 week fetus instead of a 10 week one, a 12 week fetus on the 11 week section, and so on(see photo) I really love the amount of pictures and how detailed and informative it is. I love that it’s very accurate as far as the sizing proportions go with the pictures, unlike baby center which shows the baby looking about three times smaller than it’s supposed to be in all the torso/womb photos (the 9 week photo on there is supposed to be the size of a grape, it says, but shows a baby way smaller than the woman’s fingernail…so ridiculous). To the editor: PLEASE, PLEASE do a reprint with the weekly photo pages moved!

This is like an old school super high quality text book with amazing pictures and descriptions of what happens every day to the embryo/fetus and to the mother, and even goes pretty far after birth into breastfeeding and all sorts of topics. It’s super super helpful to have and my husband reads it every day too. It’s so exciting to read and I’m so glad we found this book!! Highly recommend

This book is pregnancy reading you’ll actually do, just a little bit each day. The photos are brilliant. So nice to see what’s actually going on as you progress.

Book is genuine, but the packaging didn't have any protection. It was damaged.

I can’t recommend this book highly enough! It was so helpful at easing anxiety and answering questions I didn’t know I had! It also was so exciting to be updated daily on the development of the baby from literally week 3 - 40 for me! Fabulous for anyone expecting (good info for men too)

This book really helped me during my pregnancy. It was so nice understanding how my baby was growing and developing. And it also helped give me the right questions to raise with my prenatal medical carers. By reading a week or two ahead, I felt informed and knew what to expect.

Really disappointed the book came torn and battered. :(
