These are great. I'm not a fan of the 3 straps. I ended up returning them because they were 1/2 size too big for me.

This is my first pair of spd bike shoes, and they exceeded my expectations. The 3 velcro straps are super easy to adjust. The shoes feel very secure yet comfortable. After practicing clipping in and out several times I went for a 13 mile road ride. (I plan to use them for both road and MTB.) Hill climbs were easier and I was able to ride a gear or two higher in many cases. I'm very happy with the shoes! There was one issue. The shoes come with 4 removable toe spikes, which can be installed optionally. The box my shoes came in was a little beat up and one of the spikes was missing. I suspect the shoes I got had been returned to Amazon. (My order was delayed a couple of days, so maybe the box got tossed around a little too much.) I contacted Tommaso via email and explained that one of my spikes was missing. They responded the next day and said they were sending me a set of spikes and gave me a tracking number. So not only are the shoes great, but the company totally stands behind their product! If you are on the fence, maybe this will help you decide.

too tight sideways and the toes area is too compressed for a grown male person; they look more like women shoes

These shoes are perfect for my wide feet. I have been using them for about a month (5 days a week) and they are super comfortable. I definitely recommend these if you’re searching for something that will work with the width of your feet. I am an 8/8.5 in womens size, I ordered a 41 in this shoe.

I decided to go back to clipless pedals/shoes and these bicycle shoes fit great and feel great on my feet! I ordered the same size shoe that I wear and these biking shoes fit my feet perfectly. I like how the velcro is adjustable to customize to my feet and how the mesh lets your feet breathe. Very happy with the purchase.
