DSD TECH SH-G01B USB Isolator with High-Speed ADI ADUM3165 Chip - 480Mbps

No issues with data flow, very quick transfer. Bought mainly to protect Ham Radio and computer USB ports.

This device does not provide RF isolation between a computer and an amateur radio. It likely provides good isolation for DC and 60 Hz noise in audio systems, but for 7 or 28 Mhz radio signals it doesn't do much. I had no problems with the radio and computer communicating through the device, but it did not provide the RF isolation I need.

This little guy worked great! Honestly, I couldn't beat it for the money. I have KRK Rokit5 speakers going through a Behringer UMC22, which in turn goes into a KVM Switch for my two computers. Somewhere in that chain, the speakers were picking up a meaningful buzz/hiss. I was guessing it could be a ground loop noise issue, so I picked up this isolator and an iDefender loop breaker to compare them. This isolator solved 90% of the noise for a fraction of the cost of the iDefender and the required additional clean power unit. I am very satisfied with this purchase. It was a great value and is compact. Win/win.

Isolation from power supplies in devices.

Got extremely high error rates even running at 6 Mbps. It was totally useless so I returned it immediately.

I bought two: one was Dead On Arrival, the other worked for a couple minutes then went to Windows Connect/Disconnect every few seconds. Nice idea, but this implementation does not cut it.

Minus = gruby jest, byłoby lepiej z kawałkiem kabla, bo tak to nie wszędzie się zmieści i trzeba dokupić przedłużacz USB. Za to działa super (w zastosowaniu komputer - zewnętrzny DAC), z portami 2.0, 3.0, 3.1 i nie wymaga dodatkowego zasilania.

最初他社製のADUM3160を使用した製品を使用してましたが、あまり効果はみられませんでした。 価格的に倍近い商品ですが、まあそんなに変わらないだろうと思いましたが、とりあえずADUM3165の当商品を購入しオーディオ使いでDACとアンプの間に入れてみました。ところがこれはびっくり、ベールが一枚はがれたようなクリアーな音が出ました。これは購入して正解でした。高いですが最初からこれを購入すべきでした。

Its got many applications, the backbone is the ADUM3165 chip. Isolation use cases are plenty when working with industrial computers and components to protect your hardware. It's nice that this chip and unit support full "high speed". I've had no troubles testing it across devices and its picked up on any PC or device i have tried with it. The case is pretty slim but it would be nice to get it down to a flash drive size just for access in tight spaces and there isn't much volume to the board to encapsulate. also going to give it a shot with my audio recording off my usb turntable as another reviewer has suggested, sounds interesting.
