I just started painting miniatures and these soeed paints make the process so much easier and the results are really nice! I just wish they weren't so expensive. I'd love the larger kits, but I'm not a good enough painter to spend hundreds of dollars on the bigger sets. I still like them alot though and it seems like they have tons of colors too!

This is a very good starter set with a nice selection of colors! This was my first time trying speed paints and I really enjoyed the experience! The paints go over a white or light gray primer best with one coat coverage!

Vibrant colors that work as a perfect starter set. I'd recommend picking up a different yellow like maze or honey from the same range. Since zealot yellow can be a bit bold and orange on some minis.

I purchased a set to compliment the speed paints version 1 get that I had purchased last year. I wanted to explore the slap shop method of painting which I was introduced to as well last year. The colors are nice they flow well the included mixing balls in the bottles are great.I haven't had any clogged nozzles like I did with my Vallejo paints but that could be due to the thinner nature of the speedpaints as well.As of all pains you need to shake well but the coverage and vibrancy is nice.My issue with speedpaints is that sometimes you might put too much instead of waiting for it to dry and set prior. You definitely have to get used to the coverage that is provided by these as well as allowing it to dry completely to make sure that you're happy with the color.Overall is a great set, that being said however I do feel to little more expensive than it should be for the amount of paints to come with it.

Great paint to use

I’m a beginner painter and the speed paints have been a game changer for me. I’m still working on using my regular acrylics, but having the speed paint options have been helpful to speed things up and I do like how they turn out.
