It works.
Using this to connect 2 x 400 watt solar panels in series to a Vtoman 1500 power station. So I get 42V and up to 400W. I used a multimeter to make sure polarity was fine. I went for this option as I can get more Watts in at once and not exceed the max input volts. The Vtoman needs 30 to 60 V to work - more and you blow it, less and no juice. The anderson end was configured just right for power station but easy to unclip and reclip if needed. Photo shows anderson end with sleeve pulled back a little. I tried it on the drive (second photo) before adding to my Motorhome roof. It already had a 100W solar panel for the leisure batteries. So this project was to add the two new panels to charge the power station that has an inverter and with a few 240V sockets and multiple usb C and A ports. I use it to charge my laptop via a usb c high wattage cable and that works a treat. On sunny days I will now be self sufficient. In winter it can trickle charge and be ready for power cuts to take in and keep the freezer going a few days. Saved converting the van power to lithium and allows me to take in and out as i need the power station. The cable really helps and works a treat out of the box. Happy the wires are red and black so easy to ensure polarity is fine. I also bought an MC4 disconnection tool but not needed that yet. Thanks.

Spot on, great quality

It’s a cable
It’s nice and thick. A lot thicker than what I need for 150W solar panel. It’s not long enough but I should have not been stingy and purchased a longer one so that’s my fault!
