You get two in the box. Chord is strong wire and coated, so smooth and has a long reach and therefore does not fray over time. Very durable. I use mine for work room sensor access for a high security building, so used all the time. I would recommend.

I was in desperate need for a keyring that offered the ability to be retractable. This was because I wanted to have a way to wear my work pass on my trousers, but also then be able to use it in order to scan through doors.This item looked perfect, and so I ordered it. The keyrings have a great rectractable feature, and in this regard, are exactly what I needed. However, for me, the keyrings are just too big! Whilst they are durable, they take up a lot of space, as they are pretty bulky in their construction.So, whilst they do the job well, it would be great if they were a little more compact!

The device fits comfortably on to trouser loop and doesn't bend the loop or catch due to the size of the carabiner. With an ID badge, there is hardly any weight and this thing flies back. I would be hesitant to open a door and let go... you may injure yourself.In regards to weight it can handle, I tried this with a Galaxy A12 and it comfortable took this without dropping or failing to retract back up. Was actually useful in a meeting to attach this to the laptop bag and allow the phone to be extended out and then retract back in. Might be overkill but this actually worked.The whole device is very light weight so can also be put onto a visitors lanyard quickly to use if wanting to use for door entry without having to bend down. The carabiner is very easy to open\close manually and also tricky to open accidentally so this works with no issues on various sized lanyards. The facility of having both a keyring and badge holder clip is ideal as proven when given a temporary locker and door pass. Just clipped both on and away I went not having to check pockets or leave lying around. Very handy.
