Q: It adheres to tar but does it adhere to pitch? Some parquet blocks were laid on pitch.

I've had several different batches of parquet that I've scraped, that were all originally laid with pitch, and Lecol 5500 has been great on every occasion. My first floor was laid 10 years ago with no loose blocks.

Q: How much will I need for 13 square metres?

I would say the large one and a small start the large one first.

Q: Hi, i realise i will have to clean old black stuff off the blocks, but what do i spread this with and how much do i spread at a time?

Hi, I was lucky and applying the flooring to a perfectly flat surface so I didn’t need to use much. I just used a trowel to apply an approximately 4/5mm layer to the bottom of each block of flooring (laying a solid wood block floor). I believe if you want to do larger surfaces at one time a normal tilling trowel applied directly to the floor would also work. Hope this helps
