Slightly tricky set up but otherwise, lovely - please read the below:
Once set up, these bulbs are lovely. My wife likes bulbs that can be set to either warm or cool white, whilst I like the slightly industrial look - so these ticked all the boxes. They can also do a rainbow of other colours too, which is fun.Setting up was not intuitive. I have lots of bulbs of all makes (each with their own blasted app!!) and have integrated them to work with Alexa via my iPhone, but these were slightly different. They are Matter compatible, which is great. To start of you need the bulbs native app which is Wiz Connect on the Apple App Store. The 'instructions' are awful and the included leaflet next to useless. I found this information printed upon the flap on the inside of the box.The 'instructions' tell you none of this but you have to:Open the downloaded "Wiz Connect" App (two words not one as stated on the box flap).Put the Wi-Fi into 2.4ghz mode (very important)Turn the light off then on again 5 times. This puts it into set-up mode (again was not in the 'instructions' and found when I failed to pair them the first time). Mine turned a lovely blue colour and pulsed.Using the app, select the + icon to add a new device. The rest was quite simple and did it automatically - unless you are pairing more than one bulb, as in my case. It will only do one at a time. Smart Life et al will do multiple bulbs/devices.You can name the bulbs and assign them rooms as you wish, though unless you are going to use the native app as opposed to Alexa, there is no real point as this information does not port across.Once additional bulbs are set up, open the Alexa App.Mine showed that the bulbs had been discovered and asked if I wished to set up 'the Signify bulbs'.It then proceeds to ask whose make of bulbs they are and Signify is not on the list, so you have to choose 'Other' - that seemed random and pointless. It then asks if they are Matter, Zigbee, Bluetooth or WiFi. I chose Matter. I was then asked to scan the QR code or enter the code numerically. What???I scanned the box several times and could not find a code. After some choice words and frustration, I found the code on the inside of the top lid of the box. Where else would it be?Ran through the set up again and scanned the QR code. Only one light was found. I turned that one off, put the other one into set up mode and tried again. Yep, found it, scan the code......FAIL. Several attempts and more swearing at stupid bloody apps, still FAIL.I don't know why but I then thought about using the code from the other boxes lid (which my wife had helpfully 'tidied away').Ran through the set up AGAIN and scanned the code from the other box lid - hallelujah! It worked. Why on earth it needs a separate QR code for each bulb is a mystery. This tidbit of information was not in the 'instructions' either. Thank God for perserverance and blue language. The light bulbs themselves are lovley. Once paired on Alexa they can be set individually, grouped as a pair or as part of the living room, dimmed, brightened, set to cool or warm white, or if you are in the mood, blue, purple, green or pink! ***** 5 starsThe non-existent instructions are dire. *---- 1 star

Impressive Wiz Lightbulbs for Smart Home Fun
I recently got myself six Wiz lightbulbs, and let me tell you, they've been an absolute delight. These smart bulbs have been a fantastic addition to my smart home setup, especially with Home Assistant.Pros:1. Easy Integration: These bulbs play nice with Home Assistant and other smart home gear. Setting them up was hassle-free, and they quickly synced up with my Wi-Fi network.2. Instant Brightness and Colour Control: These bulbs really shine when it comes to controlling brightness and colours. Whether you're aiming for cozy warm light or setting a party mood with vibrant hues, these bulbs respond instantly to your commands.3. Diverse Range of Colours: The Wiz lightbulbs offer a wide range of colors to choose from. It's like having a personal light show at your fingertips. It's not just lighting; it's entertainment!4. Kid-Friendly: These bulbs have been a hit with my kids. They love experimenting with different colours and creating their own lighting scenes.5. Integration with Shelly Relays: One thing to note is that these bulbs need a constant power supply to work properly. If you turn them off manually, they won't respond. However, I've solved this by integrating them with Shelly Relays, and now they're always ready to go, even when the switch is off.6. Quick Reconnection: After being turned off, these bulbs take around 10 seconds to reconnect to Wi-Fi. But don't worry, they default to a preset brightness and colour during that brief downtime.Cons:Honestly, I can't find any major downsides to these bulbs. They've become an integral part of my smart home setup, and they've seriously upgraded my lighting game.Just remember to pair them with something like Shelly Relays for uninterrupted functionality. I recommend Wiz lightbulbs to anyone wanting to add some smart lighting magic to their home.

More of a swizz than a wizz!
Was great for about three months, then disconnected itself and wouldn’t reconnect. Just flickered all the time. I bought two - the second went the same way a month later! More of a swizz than a wizz I’m afraid! Avoid.

Decent Light, Worth the Money
Pretty good. The colour range is decent and the light good. However the need to register to use the app is annoying.
