Plastic free and high quality natural floss - refills fit in the dispenser perfectly!
Ok, to start with the environmental benefits - This dental floss is made in the UK, and is made of PLA corn floss. Now - at least that means it is not made from fossil fuels like petroleum (which is what plastic is usually made of. So that's good. Not contributing to petroleum companies mining the antartic and poinsoning the ocea. According to Geoorganics website it is compostable. Also good. It comes in cellulouse packaging and cardboard. Also good! So i feel good that this product hasn't been shipped from the far east and that I can actually understand the supply chain - Made in the UK. I can trust this product and it hasn't been sent across the seas contributing to more global warming. Now onto the floss. It has more of a surface or texture to it, that means for my teeth, it actually picks up and cleans between my teeth. In that sense it is better than your oral bs and colgate which are flat shiny plastic (apparently Teflon coated - the horror!). Which just slide around and don't actually pick up stuff from between the teeth. In that sense this is more like Tomms floss which you can get in America, which is excellent but made of Nylon. I personally love floss with a texture to it. Some other posters have left bad reviews because the floss occasionally breaks between their teeth. Yes that occasionally happens. You can't reuse the same small bit of floss, you have to move down the line of floss, one new section (i.e. 1cm of floss) for between each tooth. Ok - but even if it does break occasionally sometimes you have to accept that different materials have different properties. The benefits of this floss outweigh the occasionally breaking of the floss. Also this probably only happens to people with teeth packed tightly together. Okay onto the dispenser and refills. Other reviewers have said that the refills don't fit. That is not true. I bought my orginal dispenser about a year ago, and the refills fit in it. It seems like there was maybe a protoype product or first product on the market that was made of actual silk (Please bring that one back! Don't listen to the naysayers) and yes, perhaps there was an original dispenser that was different. Consumers need to give companies a break who are trying to do good things. The dental floss system - i'm talking your oral bs and colgates - is broken there's mountains of fossil fuel derived plastic floss going into landfills and the products themselves suck. They're probably bad to put in your mouth with their weird chemical coatings and for me they don't work anyway with their slick surfaces. Ok, lastly - the aesthetic quality of geoorganics dispenser and floss. It's a nice experience putting your refill in the dispenser. It looks good on the shelf. It's not this horror show of ugly plastic (like so many bathroom products). This is a nice experience and a pleasure to have in the bathroom and to use. So please people give something better a chance - ok it costs slightly more but I actually want to use this floss and I do! Sometimes innovation in materials means properties are different. I'll keep buying this floss and I'm going to try the toothpaste next.

Cleans Really Well - Sustainable and Awesome !
I have recently become aware of how even the small things in everyday life end up impacting big things; like our oceans and marine animals. I have therefore decided to do my best to find plastic alternatives and stay away from the products I used before. I wasn't quite sure how well this would work when I first discovered this natural dental floss, but decided to give it a go. I have been very happy with my purchase, and find that this floss works even better than the shameful plastic floss I used before (it tended to split quite fast, and I always felt quite guilty when throwing it away). The Georganics dental floss is durable, slightly thick (perfect width in my opinion, as the very thin flosses I tried in the past are really difficult to work with), and best of all: the container is plastic free and refillable! I now look forward to testing out the black version of this dental floss once I run out of this one. 100% recommend, and will be purchasing a few more and gifting to friends and family in an effort to give away something cool and modern, but also raise awareness on how to live more environmentally friendly! It is luckily not as difficult as I once feared :) As a last note, I'd like to say THANK YOU to the manufacturer for coming up with such a brilliant product, but also for packaging it so nicely! The cardboard is recycled (and recyclable), and no plastic came with my order. I enjoy writing reviews and helping others make better informed choices. Delicious and guilt-free - but a couple of small problems
Without doubt the tastiest dental floss I've ever used. The pretty little glass phial it comes in broke during delivery, however: a cardboard container might be safer (and more eco?). It is strong, but not quite strong enough to hold together when I use it in my special Y-shaped device for getting at the back teeth (maybe this is a problem only if one has close-fitting teeth?). Other than these quibbles, thoroughly recommended.

Plastic free
Plastic free alternative. Removes more plaque and causes less damage, compared to plastic.

A well presented product with an abysmal, dysfunctional execution.
This product is already 600% more than its nylon (plastic?) counterpart in the supermarket. However, I needed floss in a pinch before a holiday, and my local Tesco convenience store did not stock any. This was one of a few options that could be delivered next day on Prime, for some reason. On using the product, because it lacks durability you end up using at least 4 times the amount of floss you would usually use in one session. It breaks when using in close spaces, or if you are extra delicate, on every second or third tooth. This quickly becomes tedious and the amount of thread used quickly piles up. All in all then, you are essentially paying at least 24x the price of its nylon counterpart in one session of flossing (6x the cost for a standard length of thread, x4 for the fact you need 4 lengths than you otherwise would have to actually floss all your teeth). A well presented product with an abysmal, dysfunctional execution. I would avoid, unfortunately, unless you still think the experience and cost is bearable against the amount of plastic waste you are otherwise producing. Oh and, the taste us no more exceptional than your standard floss - probably actually less so. Sorry, but I had to mention this because many reviews made a big deal about it but it simply was not true in my case. Thank you.

Fantastic product, on my repeat purchases list
Absolutely love this dental floss - I got it in an effort to reduce my single use plastic in the bathroom and to be more eco-friendly, and this does the job. The packaging is cardboard and should be recycled, and the floss is contained in a chic glass bottle. No plastic! The floss itself is biodegradable, comes in several flavours, and you can purchase refills from amazon or the georganics website really easily, so that you can keep reusing the glass bottle over and over. If you floss then get this!

Breaks
Cute dispenser but the floss is hopeless. My teeth are pretty straight and not too tight but I can't get this floss in between them, it just breaks and leaves bits of floss stuck everywhere

Sehr gutes Produkt

Too Delicate
This floss tastes great, but it shreds easily between my tight teeth. Often it gets stuck and I need to use regular floss to remove it. So I think it's fairly worthless. Also, the packaging doesn't seem environmentally friendly, given how unlikely it is that such a small glass bottle would really be recycled.
