An alright board for my budget travel pc. Easy to update BIOs. No PBO so choose your CPU or cooler wisely for whatever case you using. Over all gets the job done!

I bought this to pair with an AMD 8500g. I knew going in that I would have to update the bios before the processor would work, but the price was right. Got the motherboard and attempted to update the BIOS, the process is fairly straightforward but there is really no vendor documentation that I could find besides 3 steps listed on the marketing page of their website. Well followed the steps and nothing happened. Looked up Youtubes and they provided additional detail that the process is very dependent on the USB stick and how it is formatted. I was using an older USB 2.0 formatted as FAT32 which seemed to be the recommendation by all the YouTubes but still couldn't get any indication that the update process was working. As a final attempt I scraped around in my junk drawer and found a very old USB that would allow me to format to FAT16, loaded the software on the stick, plugged it in and pushed the button and suddenly lights started blinking. Once the process looked to have completed plugged everything else and everything seems to work well, with the exception of Bluetooth, which is really glitchy, hoping to find an updated driver that will fix that. The BIOS software is nice. No problems pairing DDR5 RAM that had the XMP stuff (Corsair Vengance). No issues enabling high bandwidth support. Benchmarking seemed to support that everything was working at the correct published speeds. Bios appears to support overclocking even though they say it isn't available on the chipset, I haven't tried it, and probably won't, but the option seems to be available. UPDATE: I was able to find a newer Bluetooth driver and now don't have issues with bluetooth. 1 month in and motherboard has been a champ, lots of use, no issues. Updating to 5 stars.

Seems to be of a high standard of manufacture. Easy to install and it booted and worked immediately. I used a Noctua NH-L9a-AM5 Low-Profile CPU Cooler and this fitted easily in the iStarUSA 1U chassis with enough clearance for airflow. However this mini-ITX board has overall poor airflow with the memory cards blocking air coming from the front of the chassis and the solid backpanel blocking airflow at the rear of the board. As a result it's not really possible to use the NVMe M.2 2280 slot on top of the chipset heatsink as the NVMe card runs very hot. 72C continuously. It's having to deal with the chipset heat plus the NVMe heat. I ended relocating the NVMe card to the sole PCIe slot to keep it well away from the heat sources on this motherboard. This reduced the NVMe temperature to 58C, a 14C degree improvement. I used the "MICRO CONNECTORS Low-Profile M.2 NVMe SSD to PCIe 4.0 Adapter with Heat Sink for 1U PCIE-M21U40HS".

I put this in a mini PC build with a Ryzen 7 and a 4060 TI. It rips guys.

I'm still thinking about whether I'm going to return this board within the 30 day window or not. I'm so angry at Gigabyte right now! I have no issues with the board itself. The hardware seems fine, and I got everything installed and booted into Windows 11 with my Ventoy USB stick. I am a very experienced system builder, BTW. I checked the BIOS date, which was August 2024, so I went to their website to get a copy of the latest BIOS, which was 5/5/25. Then the trouble started! I just bought this board a few days ago, and it's a Rev. 1.0 version. Gigabyte is now pushing Rev. 1.1, which has some minor changes. Nothing to worry about. HOWEVER, they completely screwed up the BIOS support pages. Everything is for the Rev. 1.1 board, and you have to really, really want to find the BIOS for the Rev. 1.0 board, since it's not their "current" model. Hey Gigabyte! I want 3 hours of my life back that I spent trying to update with the wrong BIOS! Here is their BIOS support page header, word-for-word: "A620I AX (rev. 1.1) rev. 1.0" And now their page for the correct (for me) BIOS, which reads, "A620I AX (rev. 1.0) rev. 1.1" UNBELIEVABLE! The pages are identical except for that subtle difference. I may return this board just to give them a few dollars worth of the pain I went through, and I won't even begin to detail the cryptic and confusing EFI updater vs the QFLASH method. They spend all the effort to build a decent motherboard, then they totally stink at simple, clear documentation! Nobody should have to go find a random YouTube description (which didn't work either) in place of some clear website guidance and written instructions. Their "BIOS Flash SOP.pdf" instruction file included in the EFI BIOS is a disgrace, and could be used as a prime example of what NOT to do. It's probably the worst and most cryptic I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of poorly-done stuff by suppliers whose primary language is not English. Oh, and if you can't read either English or Chinese, good luck to you! UPDATE: I decided to keep the board after all. I do like it, and it works well, so I upgraded my review to 3 stars to more accurately represent my feelings about it, especially after cooling down from the horrible BIOS update experience. I had not read any of the other reviews until just now, and I noticed I am not alone on this issue. Gigabyte needs to do a better job of documenting their BIOS update process, since, as one reviewer mentioned, there are several conflicting sets of instructions, and only one will work. How do I know this? By failing until I got to the right instructions, and for the correct revision of my motherboard.

あまり高性能を求めず（オフィスが使えれば良い）、小型の仕事用PC（MINI-ITX）を自作しようと思い、購入しました。 Ryzen5 8600Gに、クルーシャルのDDR-5を２枚（32GB）とSSD１枚（ヒートシンク付きのP5）を刺して、CPUクーラーにサーマルライトのAXP-120-X67を付けたら完成（電源は手持ちのSFXを流用）。 組み上げた後、ギガバイトのHPから最新のBIOSをダウンロードしてQ-flashで更新しておく必要がありますが、それが終われば、Win11をインストールすれば完了です。 残念なのは、円安でA620にも関わらず３万円近くすることでしょうか（コスパが悪い。）。

Bought this for a compact sff build. Good board for the price will all the features you could want.

Kutu içerisinden anakart haricinde iki adet wifi anteni ve iki adet sata kablosu çıkmaktadır. Ürünü Ryzen 5 7600 işlemcisi ile birlikte kullanmaktayım. Tercih nedenim AM5 soketkli en uygun fiyatlı anakart olmasıdır. Ürün "F2" BİOS sürümü ile beraber geldi ve sonrasında "F4d" sürümüne güncelledim. Şu ana kadar herhangi bir sorunla karşılaşmadım, fakat bir sorun yaşadığım takdirde yorumumu güncelliyeceğim.
