The media could not be loaded.  ….a daunting task- to replace the pool pump. But. It was not that difficult. Yea, had to cut plumbing. All electric was off. Then not bad. The pump is nice. Not too heavy. It replaced a Haywood 1.5. Almost as strong. Works fine. It’s quiet. I used plug in for now. But I’ll hard wire it since it’s been running a week. I figure I can buy a new one like this every couple years compared to the price of Haywood. With my plan to completely replace filter system, I did not want to get pump yet. Later I’ll get all the parts that work well together, but for now. This pumps working fine. I’ve had friends that have had these off names run for years. Let’s see. If you don’t want to spend money on expensive H or P or J pump. Give this one a try. Oh! I use a timer already, so variable speed not a thing I care about. And, in my area of Florida, I have choices.

We were a little aprehensive to try this, as we needed to reconfigure the pipes a little bit to have it fit our system. Best decision ever! They included everything we needed for the fittings to increase or decrease size. Modifying it to fit was a breeze. It is so much cheaper than the Hayward pumps we've always bought and subsequently burn up. Will definitely be buying another to keep on hand as a spare, as it never fails, we have a problem right before temperatures soar. Highly recommend.

Had to solder new electrical nipples but it was easy to install. Not as strong a water flow in the pool as the 1hp CTX motor but far less expensive. BUT installed August of 2023 and this morning it flipped the breaker and started smoking. Oh well.Just ordered another cheap one til I can get a Pentair or Hayward.

Quiet, powerful, comes with several adapters that allow a direct installation into a wide variety of systems. The electrical connection is logical and versatile. An outstanding value, and I would recommend it to my friends.

This pump replaced my old Hyward pool pump. It works great and doesn't make any noise at all. You have to be close enough to it to notice is running. I like it give you the option to wire it for 120v or 240v. Great product!

Ordered it was broken when it arrived.. they sent another one . (Returns with label on packaging have been impossible where I live no outlet will take a package that heavy from here and ups won't come pick it up either) ran it with clean fresh sand right from the bag to the pump and still water turned green and won't stay clear . We shocked it twice now and we use the multi level clorine tabs in two balls and we have never had the issue with the pool in the 6 Years we have kept one with the water algi or otherwise using any other pump filter system until now . The entire season was waisted on trying to keep our pool clear enough to swim in and never got to use it one time b4 it was too chili at night to keep it warm enough to even want to swim in it now . And to top it off we have two of these damn things we don't want and have no way to send them back. I would like to know what if anything the company plans to do about this . I will keep post update on how it turns out . As for now . I absolutely would not buy another one they do not work.

Pump is very quiet. A lot more quiet than my old one. I upgraded from a single speed 1.5 hp to this 2 speed 2hp. Low speed is equivalent to that of my one speed old one. However the fittings of this pump did not match up to my hoses as advertised. So I had to purchase extra parts and modify it to fit my pool and filter. Also it was missing a rubber grommet on the clear cover, so it leaked when I first hooked it up. Luckily the rubber seal from my old pump fit the new one.

Just got this 1.5 HP pool motor & pump installed. It replaced a very pricey Pentair name brand. The plumbing fit was exactly as expected. The motor is "silent running." The suction seems adequate, less than I expected, but maybe the same as my former one. It's made in China. The price is low. It currently performs nicely. It's Very quiet. I got the three year warranty. I'm glad I found this item on Amazon. I will update this review as I know we are all interested in the quality, longevity, noise and price.My hesitancy to award more "stars", is because the item is newly installed, and does not reflect on the design or apparent manufacturing quality which looks great. 👍
