Fantastic cartridge and needle. Highs are crisp, bass is pronounced with renaissance.

Not only am I happy with the clarity and fidelity through all tonal ranges, it's the fact that Grado's other stylus offerings in the Prestige line are all compatible with this cartridge. I opted for the entry level "Green" stylus for now, but I plan to upgrade to a "Red" (better) or "Gold" (best) stylus with my eventual replacement. If you've never owned a Grado, you're in for a very pleasant surprise.

Big improvement over previous Prestige cartridges -excellent tracking -nicely extended high frequency responce compared to previous Prestige models (more like the current wood bodied Grado's). Captive nuts so mounting is really easy. Excellent value and a replaceable stylus assembley.

Picks up Static with loud Ticks ,excessive Humming when tonearm moves closer to the center ! Replaceed it back to my Ortafon problems solved .

I changed the cartridge and not just the stylus.......records were not playing right and they are in very good condition. Now the sound quality is so much improved. I'm not crazy about how the little slip of paper explains replacing the stylus.....It's supposed to slide in but I couldn't get it to slide and finally when it did it wasn't in place and I had to fix it myself......the little wires are tricky with the little diagram they give but that apparently went well on the first try. Now my records are playable again .....I never got rid of them and I enjoy the sound.

Great Cartridge very light good sound. Packaging is rather cheap for such a good product.

What can I say, it’s a Grado! They deliver on quality and performance. I’ve had it for some time now. Play through a tube pre-amp with RIAA input. Awesome. The Prestige Green3 is better than most for the money. I’m a graybeard that has used legendary cartridges and needles since the late 70’s. Grado wins for overall performance and investment.

Love this cartridge. This is my second one. Gives the warm sound it's known for.

I got back into vinyl a little over a year ago with a vintage 1977 Hitachi HT-460 direct drive turntable that I had rebuilt. Not knowing how much I wanted to invest in a stylus/cartridge, I went at the time with the Audio Technica AT3600L, which for an entry level stylus is quite underrated. But the time came to replace it, and oh boy is the mid-range stylus market ever spoiled for choice. I finally decided screw it, and I went with this Grado Prestige Green, giving the first test drive to the newly unsealed Mezzanine by Massive Attack. Let me tell you, upgrading your stylus will make a massive difference to the sound profile of your vinyl. Smoother sound, less popping, increased dynamic range. This cartridge is actually a little quieter than the AT3600L, but that's what the volume knob is for. I get it, this isn't a high-end audiophile stylus. But the jump from my previous stylus cannot be overstated.

Nach dem einfachen Einbau an meinem alten Thorens TD145 hab ich wieder richtig Spaß meine alten Vinyl aufzulegen. Das Klangerlebnis ist gelungen analog. Ich habe Platten aufgelegt, von denen ich auch CDs habe. Die CDs klingen lauter und heller. Aber die Vinyls klingen authentischer. Die ganze Bühne ist wie bei einem Livekonzert. Da merke ich erst mal, ein meine Ohren sich an den hellen Klang der CDs gewöhnt haben, was mir inzwischen fast schon harsch vorkommt.
