This specific line became my absolute #1 favorite about a year ago. I have not used another shampoo or conditioner since. I have extremely thick hair that ends about 6 inches below my shoulders. In the last 2 years or so I have began having issues with having a dry, and sometimes flaky, scalp every couple months or so. I’d treat it with T-Gel and then wouldn’t have any issues for another 60 days. I’ve never had any issues with my hair before. I’ve been very lucky to of always had long full hair that only took a quick curl on the ends of my hair for it to look like I just had a blow out. Well, unfortunately my lucky streak has run out. My scalp has been dry, itchy, and severely flaking for about 2 months straight. I’ve tried about 15 different hair stylist recommended products, to no avail. I’ve tried 3 different highly recommended dandruff shampoo, and by the way, we’re pretty expensive in my opinion. Nothing has worked. I forgot this specific product existed & came across is unintentional a few days ago. I used it for the first time last night, and was sold IMMEDIATELY! While I’m not completely out of the woodworks with my nuances of a problem, this is the best my scalp has felt, and looked, in a very long time! After I bathed my 5 year old niece last night I put the leave in conditioner along with the oil, and her hair looked like silk while I was blow drying it! Afterwards I put it in a low ponytail for bed, and while her hair was super soft & smelt amazing, it looked kind frizzy and dry. I decided to lightly add some of the oil to help with the frizz, and I swear it was like magic! Her hair went to looking dead and breakable, to looking healthy, and it resuscitated her natural bouncy ringlet curls instantly! I’m still in shock that this happened within 30 seconds.

Wonderful hair product! I apply a tiny amount of this oil to my ends after straightening or curling and it makes my hair soft, shiny and very healthy-looking. It dries down pretty quickly and doesn't look oily or wet. It does have a distinct scent -- not too strong, but not exactly pleasant either. It strangely reminds me of church incense. Since I use such a small amount, this 3 oz bottle will last me a long time. I'm glad I bought this when I did because it's now $5 more expensive.

I love love love this product. I'm so glad that im still able to find this product. It smells good, doesn't make your hair oily or greasy. My hair looks so luxurious, and shiny... i feel like my hair definitely grows a lot faster. I have eczema and just overall problems with my scalp but as soon as i put this in I feel relief. Ive given it to a few of my girlfriends who have tried it of different races and they love it also. After some time I even saw way way less or no flaking as well. I cannot express how much I love this product and swear by it. I pray they never take it off the market.

This oil is everything! I’ve been using for many years now and keep this as a staple in my daily bath routine. Product is not heavy, does not leave my hair oily, dries quickly, and has zero smell once dried. When applying to my hair I start at my tips and work my way up to my scalp. A slight scent while applying but not overwhelming. Product does exactly as described and leaves my hair silky, healthy, and light.

I love the entire CHI black see oil collection. I often use the oil in tandem with the leave-in on my wet, naturally curly hair. It helps lock everything in and keep my hair from looking "puffy" when I air-dry. I also use the oil occasionally at night on my ends to help moisturize them. I will probably buy again when I run out.
