Great quality mobo
Does everything you need an up to date AM5 motherboard to do, supports dual m.2, has 4pin fan headers, pump and rgb connectors, lots of support for all the different types of USB, micro in size so fits into a lot of slim cases perfectly fine. B650M-P offers enough to feel like a great long lasting board.

AM5 out of the box
I just picked up one of these for a first time build. I was worried about AM5 compatibility out of the box, but no need. No BIOS update needed. This is a great mobo. Am currently running a Ryzen 5 7600x and an RTX4060. This mobo gives me room to upgrade in the future if I want to.

On my 2nd board, RAM and CPU lights on.
This board has big issues out of the box. CPU lights and RAM lights are on. I bought an Amazon warehouse one to start with, but got no luck with that, so bought a brand new one. Then after a bit of searching, I realised this was really common with this model and I'm annoying it's taken me 2 whole weeks to diagnose the issue and get it running. If you get yellow ram and red CPU for LED error lights (common) - Turn on with the power button. - Turn PSU power off via the back switch. - Remove battery or reset as per manual. - Remove ram sticks and place into 2 and 4 slot. - Wait 10mins and reconnect battery if required (I couldn't get the battery out of the holder, so just used a jumper as per manual) I turned it back on, both lights lit again, I waited a minute or so and both blinked off. It POSTed and I flashed the BIOS update patch from MSI via a USB stick. Doesn't recognise any of my HD's, so now gone and bought a M.2 drive to mount to the mainboard.

Great motherboard but no accessories included in the box for some reason
Great motherboard but it didn't come with motherboard accessories such as stands or screws. Luckily was only replacing a motherboard and was able to use my original screws from before or else I would've been stuck! Changed review back to 5 because MSI quickly replied and it was my case that didn't include it

Good motherboard and it is working fine, but I did not like the BIOS setup.

Notoriously bad item with ultra slow boot times and general boot issues. Ironically, I met someone in line at the UPS drop-off store with the EXACT SAME motherboard for return. We laughed over it, and he said it was his second return for the exact same item. I cannot in good faith as a custom builder recommend this motherboard. Slow boot times eventually lead to no booting at all at many times. The guy in line next to me has the exact same issues as me, and reviews online showed the same. It's not worth the value in most opinions overall. It's THAT bad.
