Mini Air Conditioner DC 12V DIY Thermoelectric Peltier Refrigeration Cooling System Heat Sink Conduction Module Semiconductor Fridge Refrigeration Cooling System DIY Kit

This is the first peltier I’ve purchased and I’ve had a lot of fun with it. I also think it’s a good deal because you get a lot of heatsink for the price. However I don’t feel like the peltier module itself is efficient enough because it doesn’t get cold as quickly as I’d expect it to. But again for the price I cannot complain. I did an experiment where I took off the small heatsink to expose the cold side directly and put a drop of water. It took a decent amount of time for it to freeze even at full power with the large heatsink on and the fan on.

Perfect project for cooling electronics, however must also deal with condensation in humid climate. Didn't take that into account and water produced fried components as it got onto the boards. Must channel water produced so it doesn't get into sensitive electronics.

As the title states. Don't work as good and it's advertised. Not keeping anything cool. Not worth the money in my opinion.

This is the ONLY mini air conditioner I could find to rebuild my Igloo iceless cooler!

It appears to be a well made 12 volt thermal electric cooler. I'm looking to see in which project I will use it in. So far I have not connected it. But appears to be a high quality build product. We will see.

replaced failing unit in a mini wine cooler (~1.5 ft cube). Hooked directly to 12v 10A supply. After several hours temps dropped from 70 degrees ambient to 64 degrees. Was hoping this one would work, but alas, no luck. This may work better if placed in a tiny enclosure. Still looking for a cooler that actually will cool.

The cooler works, but not quite as advertised. First of all, the unit claims the Peltier chip draws 6 amperes at 12 volts. It does not even draw 3 full amperes at 12 volts. Because the fans are 12 volts, one would expect to use a single power supply for both the fans and the cooler. Doing so results in significantly degraded performance. Providing multiple voltages, especially something more than 12 Volts can be a significant stumbling block. In addition, the physical layout of the cool side fan makes sealing the unit a bit difficult. It also makes mounting the unit a little tricky. It would be great if the unit had a mounting flange slightly longer and wider than the heat sink body

Amazing cooling of down to 20° F on a 12 volt power supply. It also arrived after 2 days. I love it!

I had this unit for 5 minutes running and stopped working completely dead I had to send it back and get my money back very disappointed even run one fan only not working

Refroidis “trop” tel quelle, après quelque heure de fonctionnement. La glace se forme partout , bloque les fans et fini par faire le contraire , vue que tout force la température monte ! J’ai du retirer les fan et les installer ailleur pour souffler l’air de côté sur les diffuseurs. Mais encore , j’ai changer de pièce finalement
