I knew this was going to be a good product the moment I picked it up. It was heavy, which immediately gave me confidence in the quality. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised, and it only got better from there. As I pulled it out of the box, I could see that the construction was very sturdy. I mounted it under my second workbench next to my compressor. It includes a hose that connects directly to the compressor, which made installation easier. After installing it, I pulled the hose all the way out to test how well the spring would retract it. It worked very well. I have had problems with automatic hose reels in the past not retracting all the way, but this one worked flawlessly. Another great feature is that the clicking sound when you pull the hose past the stop points is loud enough to hear clearly. Since this hose is 65 feet long, you can be quite a distance away while pulling it out. On my older hose reel, it was hard to hear the clicking, so I did not always know when to let it back in slightly so it would catch instead of reeling the entire hose back in. This one makes that much easier. I also like that the stop attachment on the end of the hose is movable. Because of where I mounted mine, I can now leave a little bit of hose hanging out instead of having the entire hose reel all the way back in. My only minor complaint is that the mounting bolts that came with it were a little too small for my liking. I replaced them with larger bolts, which cost me about $6 at Lowe’s. Since this unit is fairly heavy, I would suggest mounting it to a stud or something very solid. I mounted mine to a 2x6 just to be safe. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a sturdy, well-built retractable air hose reel.

Better than I expected. This one is as good as any I have seen build-wise. It is a bit noisy as it ratchets, but that's fine as it locks in and releases perfectly. Hose is of excellent quality. I was going to change the fittings to low-restriction fittings, but these are excellent and less restrictive than some of my old ones, so I think they are fine for my needs. Leader hose is much longer than typical, which is one reason I wanted to buy this one. There are no issues as far as hose rewinding, as the spring mechanism is strong, so I kind of wish I got the longer hose ... I don't think there would have been any problem rewinding it. Looks great and very professional on my wall. Easy to mount and of a nice weight - not too heavy but super-strong frame.

Attached to the outside of the house and run the compressor out of the basement so I have air right in the driveway. Just enough reach for the entire driveway. Pulls out and retracts like a high dollar unit at a dealership. No “memory” to the hose, perfect, just lays flat unless you put a loop in it on purpose. Looks great, works great, easy to mount, dry sturdy, and all around smart buy!!

Very recommended, especially for a small garage. We hung it from the ceiling to save space, and it works great. The reel feels heavy-duty, the hose has good reach, and the auto rewind is very convenient. Great quality and a smart way to keep the garage organized. Perfect size up to 65ft no leakage and esast swivel great forbthe price

First and foremost I do think the product itself is 5 stars - the reel is good quality and hose it way more flexible than my previous. However the reason for 4 stars is the mounting hardware is absolute garbage and the instructions are terrible. The supplied screws DO NOT fit in the anchors. The screws are too big for the anchors so they seized up as I screwing them in causing the anchors to spin inside the dry-wall which then caused the hole to collapse (photo below shows where the screw stops inside the anchor).. Second, the instructions tell you to drill a 3/8" hole for the anchor but that size is too big (which contributed to the anchor spinning situation). Lastly, if you are mounting this to a fixed wall it's a PITA because only 2 of the 4 holes are keyhole shaped and the reel blocks you from using a normal drill/driver on the other 2. Why didn't they just make all 4 holes keyhole shaped? Do yourself a favor and just use your own mounting hardware and completely disregard the instructions, or buy a product with better mounting options.

This works great. A few things to keep in mind: 1. As you unwind the hose, you will hear a clicking sound. That means the lock is engaged and you can release the hose without it rewinding. To rewind, just pull the hose until you don't hear the clicking and it will rewind all the way. You may want to keep a hand on it if you have deployed a fair amount of hose just to control the speed. 2. This item comes with the hose coiled around the spool. 65 feet of hose is pretty heavy, so I found that deploying nearly all of the hose prior to installation made the task a lot easier. 3. Installation on a wall is pretty easy as two of the screw holes are key eyes this allows you to screw one of your screws (a top one) into the wall and then hang the unit on that screw while you complete the installation (putting in the other 3 screws. The screws provided are sufficiently robust. 4. The kit includes some pretty thick wall anchors, but I would recommend making sure you catch a stud with at least two of the screws. Loaded, this reel is pretty heavy, and you will be pulling on it. As I mentioned, wall installation was easy for one person. If you plan to mount it on the ceiling you might want to get someone to help you. 5. I mounted this on a wall that my compressor is adjacent to. If you are going to mount this on a ceiling or on a wall that is not right next to your compressor, you may need a longer supply hose. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and functionality of this reel and the accompanying hose. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I bought just off of reviews but still I have to say I am pleasantly surprised this hose reel is REALLY well made. I bought this one even though it was a little more than other and now I'm glad I did. The base that attaches to the wall is wider than others and is more stable with 45 bolts instead of just two and the hose is super flexible and high quality. It's really heavy duty and well made. I have it set up in my garage and it's so easy to air up my truck, rttiding mower etc. A+++

Used for a couple months now. No leaks, very convenient, serious upgrade over just a regular, non-retractable hose. My friend ran it over with his motorcycle twice 🫩 but it held up like a champ! The retraction (or rather, the ratcheting) mechanism could be a little smoother, but for the money it does its job well enough.
