Great bin. Can open the lid partially using the pedal or fully by hand. Easy to move around as is very light unlike a metal bin. Bin liner bag stays in place ok.

Does the job, but note the pedal doesn’t fully lift the lid, it’s wide enough to throw stuff away but I would give 5 stars if it opened another 10cm more

Firstly, the bin is fantastic. It’s so nice to have a big bin. It’s great how you can open it with the pedal, this means no matter what you don’t need to touch the bin to open it. The lid also opens fully at 90 degrees for when you just want an open bin to be able to throw constant streams of rubbish, plus you can empty the bin easier.Customer services are great here at Addis, they are quick to respond to any questions you may have and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy.There’s only one negative about this whole transaction, it’s nothing to do with the company nor the product, it’s to do with the courier company who delivered it-EVRI. This crafty dis-ingenuous idiot of a driver decided to OPEN my item and throw away the box!! He also ripped off the delivery label and stuck it on the lid of the bin (which he installed incorrectly) the label still had bits of cardboard still stuck to it!, The bin was also scuffed and marked in several places. I don’t get why any company would want to use Evri (AKA Hermes previously) They are a disgrace to the courier industry, I’ve had nothing but negative interactions with them. Rant over.

I mean it’s a basic black bin with a pedal. Cant ask for much more it works how it should and has a 10 year warranty. Addis have been making these products for a long time so a trusted brand to buy from and the bin itself is good quality and the best you will get for this price point for a pedal bin. Lid closes softly after releasing pedal. Easy to use for all ages and will stand the test of time.

For the price this is a good bin until I can get a better one. The positives are that it is reasonably big inside for rubbish. It does open part way when you press a foot on the pedal. It does almost close fully when you take your foot off the pedal.The negative points are that the lid doesn't open all the way. It opens about 3/4 of the way. I could have bought a cheaper generic brand that opens the same amount but went for a well known brand name thinking it would open fully or at least more than it does. The lid returns to sit on top not actually fully closed. So if you have anything go a bit smelly i the bin, you can smell it the same as when the lid is open. If you push it down fully, gently with you fingers then it won't open when you put you foot on the pedal. You will have to open it with your hand until the foot pedal works. If someone is heavy footed the lid can detatch itself and you have to fix it. It is so thin and loght weight that if you put anything bulky inside then it misshapes the bin. Someone put a bunch of clothes in mine and it warped the shape so that the lid was even worse at being 'closed'. You can't really push stuff down in the bin to compact it and create more space for the same reason. The bin becomes misshaped and it affects the lid. Lastly, the bin liner has nothing to hold it in place. It has a lip that you can poke it up into on the outside edge, but it doesn't hold it in any way. It just makes it look neat and tidy.... until you put something in the bin and the bag gets pulled inside. I have had to repeatedly pick out the bag edge with yoghurt and other foods dumped on it because other folk in the house carry on dumping stuff in regardless that the bag had come off of the bin lip/edge.It is a good makeshift bin while you save up for a better one, but not sure I could stick with it indefinately. A bit dissapointing for the brand. I expected better.

Great product, I always purchase Addis as they clean well & last for years.

Der Mülleimer ist toll. Aber wie einer meiner vorredner öffnet er sich beim betätigen des Pedals nur Dreiviertel, aber man kann ihn dann Manuell vollständig öffnen was überhaupt kein problem ist. Und noch eins : versucht nicht den Müll rein zupressen da macht er dicke Backen und schließt dadurch nicht richtig. 5 Sterne.
