I've tried it plain on a spoon and in cocoa, so far.The suttle velvety flavor is perfect for me. If you're into white sugar and addicted to sweets from America this may not be the flavor for you.If you've traveled outside the states and have a palate for the flavorful European chocolates this would titillate your taste buds.Because it's cold here at the moment the spread is solid. I'm curious if it softens in warmer weather.Since my dog and I enjoy the house at a cooler temp during colder months to enjoy being outside better I'm patiently waiting to see the potential difference. Thinking of another brand that does change thickness depending on house, temp thought this might also.With a knife, this spread is easy to penetrate to remove chocolate for a cracker or just to take a taste. Its texture is very consistent. Dense without being hard.For the price would say this isn't an everyday delight for me. I plan to use it regularly for snacks and with homemade Belgium waffles as a side topping. Plus, in cocoa.The hazelnut isn't dominating.
