These blocks are great for holding materials like wood when you are sanding or working on them. They are very stable and have a great grip.

Work well. Holds projects well. Slight issue, one of the liners is coming off after only a short time of use. Hasn't effected use. Thinking about buying another set.

By looking the picture I thought by using the four block of grips you can hold anything in the center to work, for example, to hold a watch firm so that you can change the battery. So I order it.Seeing is deceiving! I was so wrong.It was just four blocks of plastic, glued a thin layer of another coarse plastic on the up and down surfaces, the gripping power is no better than a mouse pad. There are nothing on the sides, so it won't hold anything.I could have DIY'ed myself. Cut two blocks of 2x4 and glue my mouse pad on both sides. It costs less than 2 bucks.It was my bad to order this, yet still disappointed.

I bought this to do random orbit sanding of workpieces. It didn't work. The pieces jumped off the sanding blocks. I cleaned the workbench of sawdust and put down a little water to make them stick better but that didn't work either. They may be useful for finishing. I will try dedicated sanding pads that may work better.

It has a wide base to hold the product securely as you work on it.
