Tried on a similar dress in a department store that had a price tag almost $200 more than this. So of course I came here to see if I could find something similar. Honestly, I like this way better. The material is surprisingly substantial and the ruffles stand up nicely. I’m 5’4” and without heels it’s at the floor, so nice since usually long dresses that aren’t petite sizing are way too long for me. Amazon recommended a size XL, but I ordered a medium. It’s a tad snug (but fits) but I’m still in the process of losing weight so I’m sure it’ll be a little less so by the time my event rolls around. Definitely well worth the money, I feel really beautiful in it.

I could not be happier with this dress! I am in a wedding… not a bridesmaid, but bringing up the gifts in mass. I am also 6 months pregnant. This dress is beautiful! The fabric is stretchy and thick but not too heavy. It actually looks like dress pants material versus like casual fabric material, making it feel appropriate for formal occasions. It’s form fitting but not too tight and feels comfortable over my belly. I wear a large normally and it fit as expected. Even just being sent in a ziplock type bag, it wasn’t all wrinkly when I pulled it out. I am SO relieved I found a dress I feel good in even with my baby bump!!!

This is a well made and beautiful dress, but I think it would look better on a larger breasted woman than what I am. I didn't fill out the top as well as I would have liked, and ultimately I went with a different dress that better flattered my figure. Don't be afraid to order this dress though, even if you are smaller breasted, as it still looks good on and is an excellent price for such a pretty dress.

I bought this dress as an option for a wedding. The fit, color, and comfort of the dress was great! It was well made and had a little bit of stretch to it. The size was spot on. I ended up returning it because I went with a different dress. But it traveled to the wedding with me to make the choice.

Very nice dress at a great price. I'm 70, 5'4", 140 lbs, with a large bust so ordered the recommended XL which is perfect for me. Provides good coverage front and back, unlike lots of dresses. Even so, at my age the front V neck is lower than I prefer, so I'm wearing a black shapewear camisole which looks fine (not sheer/underwear-looking) and gives it sort of a Grecian-style neckline. Length could be about half an inch shorter to be ideal for me, but not a problem. Going on a cruise with multiple formal dinner opportunities, so want to take only one black dress where I can change up the look with different wraps and accessories but not have to overpack all kinds of stuff. I tried multiple dresses from various vendors, but this one really was the best fit, length (many were way too long), style, quality, and value. One negative was the packaging: came "folded" (not carefully) and stuffed in an approximately 9x13-inch bag, so fairly wrinkled, though I can fix that with my steamer. Otherwise recommended.

Just received my item a few minutes ago. The dress was so poorly packaged, could tell someone returned it. Deodorant stains, unzipped and just thrown into a bag. I read the tag - handwash warm, no rinsing (what the heck does that mean)? Anyway, fit is pretty good and true to size. I'm 5'8" and about 186lbs, ordered an XL.Did anyone, when hand washing, experience the color coming off? I ordered in black and used a mild detergent, as recommended, in a bucket and the water was totally black. Hopefully after it dries it is still ok. But curious if anyone else experienced the same.

I am 5.5 tall, 125 pounds, 34B and size small fits perfectly. It won't need any alterations. It is well made, no need to wear a Spanx as the ruffles and pleats on the belly of the dress are very forgiving.

This was not the style in the picture. I purchased the magenta/pink one and it had ruffles and looked like the picture. The peacock blue is a totally different dress and very long, straight no ruffles or rouging around the waste. I’m ordering the royal blue because I loved the magenta one. I’m hoping it’s the same style as that one. The blue peacock one is pretty too but I’m 5 1in and it’s way too long. It has side slits but it capes over them. Pretty dress but not what o wanted.
