Use this oil to drill steel every day
I am an industrial electrician so I drill through steel almost every day. This is the best cutting and tapping fluid i have ever used. My bits have been staying cooler and sharper for longer I drill holes in quarter inch thick steel plates all day to do grounding and making plates for various electrical mounting points, this stuff works great. ONE PIECE OF ADVICE DO NOT GET THIS STUFF TOO FAR UP ON YOUR DRILL BIT if it gets into your chuck. The drill will skip and slip like crazy and it'll make you wanna pull your hair out!

Industrial Quality; Home Shop Size
I am not a demanding user of this industrial quality product. I use it with my diamond hones and with my Work Sharp home sharpening belt grinder. It makes a slurry of metal grindings quickly and expedites both sharpening and initial honing. It also is useful for cleaning filings from stone or diamond hones. Stropping does not require fluid but does require a range of grit-impregnated waxes. The viscosity of this produce would stand up to a lot more friction and heat than I require. But 'more is better'...or 'belt and suspenders.' That works for me.

It'll save your bits!
I am building a custom 73 chevy nova and it requires a whole lot of drilling out spot welds, that is what I have been using this stuff on. I transferred some of this stuff into a small bottle that has a finger dropper and I put a few drops of this stuff onto my bits before and during my drilling. I dont think there is a whole lot of technical science involved in making this stuff, but it does exactly what its supposed to do! I also use it when I have to pull out the tap and die set. It'll make your bits last much longer, tap and dies cut much smoother also. Will buy again if needed

When drilling steel it’s wise to use this. You can get away with WD-40, sure, but this stuff is superior as it’s made specifically for drilling and tapping. I’d rather drill than sharpen bits.
