I'm in love with these shoes! I've always worn stylish dress shoes, not necessarily comfortable. Truth be told, I've never found dress shoes comfortable. They either don't breath and make my feet sweat and stink, or tight and cramped, or a combination. I've always been reluctant to get loafers because I think they look like old-person shoes (no offense if you're old). My dress shoes finally fell apart, and I got tired of coming home at the end of the day with stinky, damp, and sore feet. 
I decided perforated shoes would be the way to go, as it'd elminate half of my issues. Well one of the most ventilated dress shoes happened to be these driving loafers. I'd recently seen more younger people wearing them pretty successfully with business casual, and a friend of mine finally convinced me to give them a try.Wow, these things are amazing. My feet are no longer profusely sweaty at the end of the day. The bottoms of my feet are still a little sweaty, which has nothing to do with the shoe. Probably a nice charcoal insert would take care of that. That’ll probably be nice during the summer without socks.Another nice bonus is that my feet don’t feel cramped in these shoes. I’m used to stylish shoes that cramp my toes, but no so with these. It fits like a loose leather glove. Maybe a better descriptive is a slipper. It’s got pretty much no cushion or arch support on the button, but I’m used to that in dress shoes and it doesn’t bother me. It’s so comfortable with no pinching anywhere.I’m sold on these. I won’t go back to a different type of dress shoe now. It’ll be interesting to see how these are during the hot summer months, a tome when my feet were really sweaty wearing dress shoes.The only drawbacks is that it is not a supportive fit at all. But then again I don’t think anyone buys dress shoes, or loafers, expecting support. Because it’s a driving shoe, the tread doesn’t come to the outer edge, so I’m concerned with durability as well as stability. So far stability isn’t an issue for me though. The material not being leather is a concern, and I’m wondering how long they’ll last, especially in the edge of the toe that comes in contact with the ground when you walk. But for the price, I can buy a new pair every year and I’m still better off then buying crap locally. Since I’m talking about the material, I also wonder how cool it will feel in the summer. Though I can feel a cool breeze blowing through the shoe outside on an April day, I’m worried that synthetic leather will be hot no matter how perforated they are. I will see soon.The final issue is that the insole isn’t removable. I suppose it’s probably better it isn’t because it does fit a bit loose, and I like this feeling. Probably when the insert goes I’ll have to rip this one out and may consider a dot of glue to hold the next one down. Then again, the logic behind the glued in one is that these shoes won’t last beyond a year or two, so by the time it’s worn the shoes are probably ready to be tossed and replaced.

Affordable shoes doesn't mean cheap. For a pair of driving shoes, I wore them for the first time today -- out several hours and a lot of walking. I am not afraid to send an uncomfortable pair of shoes off to one of my favorite thrift shops. After all, it might fit somebody else's foot just fine. I have shoes I have paid more for but for the price this is a fantastic shoe. It appears to be finished off very well. I would buy it again in multiple colors. I put this green with a Kelly Green Falari ratchet belt and it looked terrific. Actually had three people stop me and say how much they liked the belt and shoes.

These shoes are amazing, so far, and fit true to size! I ordered them in yellow, orange, and red, and have worn the yellow pair twice and the other two once a piece. They seem to be well made, and I’ll post any updates if anything changes after several additional wears. Otherwise, so far, I’m beyond satisfied!

These shoes were bought for my son to wear to the prom. He absolutely love this shoe. Unfortunately, it was large on his feet. This was also a comparison item. In the end, he decided to go with another shoe as well as another color.
