Working fine in my Stratux
Great for use with Stratux

Not good value in UK, one radio ok for AD-B, other useless
Radios themselves are fine but 978MHz not used in Uk. When used as part of Stratux the other reads ADS-B and Mode S transponder signal fine. Stratux construction in UK not very useful yet and interface with either SkyDemon or Runway HD not correct. 978 radio can be reprogrammed but antennas will still be wrong.

These babies get HOT
Great little devices, and really handy collection of accessories. Everything you need to setup a nice dual band ADS-B node and getting good results with it. To correct some other reviews these devices are NOT calibrated for any particular frequency, they simply have the identifiers set to 978 and 1090 to make configuration easier and knowing which is which. You happily tune them to any frequency they are just normal SDR dongles. Also while UAT/978 is not currently used outside of the US, I still pick up flight tracks of US planes and it may be used in future certainly if there are more receivers. Either way that does not make the bundle worthless, it's pretty good value. Packing it all into a small formfactor though wow they get really hot, included heatsinks definitely not optional if you're running them 24/7.

Utilisation dans un Stratus Europe. Le module 1090 fonctionne, je vois les Liners quant il y en a; pour le 686, je ne sais pas car il n'y a pas de planeur à cette période.

I've had my Raspberry Pi running this pair of N3 SDR radios 24x7 for over 3 years now streaming to ADSB Exchange and it's been rock solid. The antennas that come with it aren't great but very functional. I have used the N3 radios before and picked up this bundle when I was looking to get more of them. I don't know if it's worth the $95 that it's listed at currently. It was only $65 when I bought it and would have bought another bundle if it was still around that price. I'm a big fan of the NESDR Nano 3 because of it's compact size.

I bought this to build my Flightware Feeder. It works really well. The device is easy to setup, follow the Linux/Ubuntu instructions from their website, just till the point rtl-sdr is installed, then switch to the Piaware installation instructions. The device does get hot, but not burning hot, doesn't melt plastic. The provided heatsink is useful. Have it running for almost two weeks now, and still doing well.
