Lucky Luke Vol. 1: Billy the Kid (Lucky Luke Adventures)

A top notch Lucky Luke book with all the usual absurdities including of course the wonderful Billy the Kid and a host of ridiculously nervous townsfolk.- Luke has to become a desperado himself in order to sort this one out. I love the way he smashes up a bar and then tots up the cost of all the items to pay back later on.

Brought back happy childhood memories :) Lucky Luke is an absolute classic! Looking forward to the entire Lucky Luke collection on kindle

Lucky Luke is not as famous in the UK as Goscinny's other famous creation Asterix however this is our loss. It is a genuinely funny comic with interesting characters and storylines. I would recommend this to anyone who has young boys or likes the allure of the Wild west.

Very suspenseful and really good for the price. I recommend it! If you have read other lucky luke's, read this one too!

Pages do not display correctly making the whole thing unreadable. Do not buy, total bloody waste of money. How do I get a refund???!!!!!!

I grew up reading Lucky Luke and still read his adventures today! It is sold all over Europe and that's where I learned all about America's "West" and cowboys and sheriffs...It's funny, good reading (all capital letters), and the good guy, Lucky Luke, always gets the bad guys...

You just can’t get wrong with Lucky Luke 😊

The translation is a little clunky at times and I was surprised that the English versions don’t have a short history of the topic at the end, like the originals usually do. It’s good fun, though not quite as good as the Asterix series.
