Larger than expected; this holds a lot of shrimp! I like that it comes with three pieces โ the tray itself, a bottom part for ice, and a cover. Many other brands make you use the ice holder/cover interchangeably (two pieces instead of three). Mine also came with silicone ice trays; have not had a chance to use them yet, but they look like nice quality.

I purchased 3 of these for a bbq - They are 'large' not extra large in my opinion. The inner bowl is stainless steel, the chiller base is clear plastic and the lid is clear plastic - just as shown in photos. You put ice in the clear plastic base and place the stainless bowl on top of the ice. So... it keeps the bottom of the salads colder - but not really sure it's effective for food safety beyond 2 hours. But it's cooler at the bases of the salads. They look very nice on a buffet line. Tip - crushed ice works best as chunky ice doesn't allow the stainless bowl to sit well. Overall I think they are highly overpriced. Hand wash all parts. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. This is a great way to serve and would make you the hostess with the mostest! They only thing I did not like, was the small serving items. They are made from thin cheap plastic. I will be replacing them as soon as possible

Exactly as described. It is a large dish so it holds lots of fruit or veggies when I use it at a party. For storage you can just turn the lid upside down and it fits exactly into the bottom.
