The double handle design really does make a difference
Well, well, well! Have I got a treat for all you vloggers, filmmakers, and video makers out there. Introducing the QKOO Video Rig with Handle Compatible with MagSafe for iPhone 14/13/12/Plus/Pro/Pro Max/Mini Series, Filmmaking Aluminum Alloy Phone Video Stabilizer Grip Tripod Mount for Vlogging Video Maker. Phew, that's a mouthful!Let's start with the strongest feature of this rig: its strong magnetic attraction. Compatible with the iPhone 12/13/14 Series without a case, all MagSafe cases and accessories, this little baby is stable and anti-shake. However, it won't work if your phone has a non-magnetic case on it. For non-MagSafe models, such as the iPhone 11& under series, other Android phones, or phones with non-MagSafe cases, you can use a magnetic phone case or magnetic ring. Now, onto the design. The QKOO Video Rig boasts a double handle design that is specifically crafted for mobile filmmaking, live video blogging, and vlogging. The double grips are more comfortable to hold, the camera is more stable, and the lens is more accurate. Plus, it's easy to operate. Unlike traditional mobile phone clips, it only uses strong magnetic force, and the 360° horizontal and vertical screens can be adjusted arbitrarily. The rig is also equipped with a cold shoe mount and multiple 1/4'' screw holes, so you can expand the microphone, fill light, tripod, and other equipment to make mobile phone shooting more professional. And let's not forget about the material! Made of aluminum alloy and covered with a delicate silicone pad on the magnetic base surface, this rig keeps your phone safe and sound. But, let's talk price. The QKOO Video Rig with Handle Compatible with MagSafe for iPhone 14/13/12/Plus/Pro/Pro Max/Mini Series, Filmmaking Aluminum Alloy Phone Video Stabilizer Grip Tripod Mount for Vlogging Video Maker is priced quite reasonably compared to similar products on the market. And trust me, you won't be disappointed with its performance.Speaking of similar products, the QKOO Video Rig can definitely hold its own against its competitors. Its strong magnetic attraction and double handle design make it stand out from the rest. Now, no product is perfect, and the QKOO Video Rig is no exception. The magnetic attraction can be a bit finicky at times, especially with non-MagSafe models or phones with non-magnetic cases. But overall, the QKOO Video Rig is a fantastic product that I would highly recommend.I have personally used the QKOO Video Rig and have to say, it's a game-changer. The double handle design really does make a difference, and the ability to add on other equipment makes it perfect for any mobile filmmaker or vlogger. So, if you're in the market for a new phone video stabilizer grip tripod mount, look no further than the QKOO Video Rig with Handle Compatible with MagSafe for iPhone 14/13/12/Plus/Pro/Pro Max/Mini Series, Filmmaking Aluminum Alloy Phone Video Stabilizer Grip Tripod Mount for Vlogging Video Maker.

Sturdy, but magnet isn't very strong.
I have a magsafe phone case. Normally all my accessories have a super song hold. This does not. Make sure to be gentle so it doesn't lose grip and fall off. It stays on fine while shooting a video If your not moving a lot. But I wouldn't feel comfortable holding at my side in one hand while walking. The rig itself is very sturdy & well made. Just not a very strong magnet to hold your phone.

The pivot is SO FRUSTRATING!
Overall, this rig has been pretty good - it's dramatically improved my videos as the twin handles make all the difference in stability. Any tiny jitter you have is so easily cleaned up in editing.I like that it has cold shoes on top of each handle, perfect for lights and mics, plus you've also got 2 cold shoes on the bottom if you need more for a total of 5 cold shoes if you count the magsafe mount. The clever design where the feet store in the handles is real nice for portability. A nice surprise is that the feet are magnetic, so when placed on a metal surface, it adds another degree of stability to the rig. However, they're not strong enough to support the rig with a phone and accessories on a vertical surface. It looks like the magnets are more intended for staying in the storage position in the handles rather than mounting the rig in any way. With that said, I have one giant gripe with this rig and that's the magsafe mount. Specifically, the pivot of the mount - it's too weak and does not hold the phone from moving! Whether in landscape or portrait, just a little bit of motion forward or back and it overcomes the holding power of that pivot and the phone swings. This is just incredibly frustrating when filming - especially when the shot is perfect otherwise. You simply cannot tighten that pivot enough to prevent this from happening - plus, the screw is so tiny that if I really tried to go ape tight with it, I'm sure I'd snap the screw, strip the threads, or round out the allen. If the pivot was worth a hoot, this would be a 5 star rig, but that one issue has me reaching for other rigs to film with now. That's a pretty big miss for a rig that is intended to be hand held. If it wasn't outside the return window, I'd be sending it back to find a better rig.

Sturdy item, seems like it will last - but came with no instructions
This rig came in three pieces with some screws and two different sized allen wrenches. I had to go back to look at the picture on amazon before I figured out how it was supposed to go together because it came with no instructions - and there are holes and attachment areas all over the thing! I guess it's made so you can attach a number of different accessories like lights and filters - which is nice, but it sure made it harder to figure out how it was meant to be put together!I ended up with two extra little screws, and initially I was confused about what the smaller allen wrench was for. Then I realized it was meant so the magnetized phone holder could fold down - there are two very tiny screws that are supposed to let you loosen or tighten that. That allen wrench is so thin though, and the screw is so small and hard to reach that I think I stripped either the screw or the allen wrench trying to loosen/tighten it. I'm not sure I was able to turn the screws at all, but after trying for a short time I could no longer fit the allen wrench to the screw well enough to even try. Hopefully that won't be an issue - right now it folds down with a little push, but doesn't fall down on it's own when my phone is attached. If it stays that way I'll be happy.Since I take pics with my phone, and I don't have an extra on hand, I can't take a pic of the phone ON the rig - but it did feel comfortable in my hands and will certainly make it easier to take steady videos even without a gimbal. Nice addition to my equipment for sure!

Affordable sturdy setup
I'm getting into creating more content and wanted something to stabilize when I'm filming in public. I want a gyro stabilizer stick but those are quite pricey so I wanted to try something a bit cheaper to get used to the content first. This rig comes well packaged with 3 of its parts separated and encased in foam. There are no instructions on how to assemble but referencing the product image on this page made it very straightforward by using four of the included screws and Ikea-style wrench. Disassembling is also just as simple if you want to use this foam and box for transporting.I did a few tests and it works quite well. The magnet is strong and its placement can be easily adjusted for your needs. Overall, it's not as discreet given its wide nature. As well - for me, it might be a bit too heavy for longer shoots or it'll just take some time for my muscles to get used to it. It's a good starter rig for me just to get used to everything but if I continue making more outdoor content, it would make more sense to upgrade to the stick so its easier to hold in one hand.
