Q: Will this fit over my 42 inch toilet?

The measurement from the floor to the bottom of that first shelf is 34 inches; 22 inches measuring side to side. I don't know how stable the rack would be without the first shelf. Both of the back bars, however, have a hole that can be used to secure the unit to the wall. Any additional hardware is not included in the box.

great idea! But you will want to buy one that is sturdier. Without the top shelf I would be afraid that it would fold. Good Luck!
