Truly a great product and after trying both this budget friendly and expensive models, I can confidently say that I’m going to stick with this brand for any monitor needs I may have. Their customer service is excellent which makes all the difference as well! Easy installation, great audio and video quality. Battery quality is incredible and our units havent had any issues in over 2 years now. Have purchased other products from HelloBaby and will always suggest them to future parents. With great pricing and quality to match this product is a win.

We love our hello baby monitor! We absolutely did not want a monitor that had wifi because of hacking so this was absolutely perfect. It’s really easy to use we got it mounted super simple and quick. We originally bought 2 cameras with the monitor and added a third for our living room and it’s been great, we love that it can have up to 4 if we wanted to add another. It’s also a great price especially for the quality of the product, the picture is nice and clear, you can adjust the camera view all around to see around the room using the monitor it basically lets you see every single aspect of the room that is not blocked by furniture. The battery also lasts our previous monitor the battery life was not great. We were really happy to switch to this monitor. Definitely recommend it!

Wow! This baby monitor has served our family so well. Before Hellobaby, we had a monitor that we hated. Once it broke within a couple months, we tried this brand. We love how we can use the monitor to shift the camera, especially as our baby moves a lot more in his crib. The night vision is clear and not grainy. The sound is really loud when you want it to be. The range is also impressive. We live practically in the parking lot of our church and are able to attend events at the church, taking our monitor with us, and we still have connection in most of the rooms. We certainly can walk around our house and not lose connection too. It’s really user friendly and has all the features I need. I also LOVE that one monitor can eventually have four cameras working on it. My husband and I want four kids so that will be perfect for us. We are very happy with our purchase and have no need to try any other brand.

I’ve been using the HelloBaby HB6550 monitor for a while now, and I can honestly say it has been one of the best purchases for my family. I care for my wife who now has dementia. Because I still have to manage the household, there are plenty of times when I cannot be at her side. Because she tries to get up by herself, and because she will fall if she does, I needed a baby monitor. This monitor is easy to use and has already prevented lots of falls in the 7 months that I have owned it. Having both video and audio (two-way audio) is a great feature. I can hear her when she calls out to me which is very helpful for when I am not looking directly at the monitor. The display is very good and works well in almost no light. I was amazed at how well the night vision works. Because my wife is usually in one of two places (Bedroom or Family Room), I had been moving the camera from one place to the other when I moved her. So I decided to get a second camera for the convenience of no longer needing to move the camera. My Hello Baby model can handle up to 4 camera as I understand it. I also own WiFi security cameras which can provide similar monitoring, but the Hello Baby monitor is far easier to use and it always works as soon as I turn it on. The WiFi cameras often disconnect and have to be restarted. And although this monitor does not work remotely from miles away (like the WiFi cameras do), I understand that the Hello Baby monitor is more secure in that it cannot be hacked as easily as the WiFi models can be. I am very happy with my Hello Baby monitor.

Really happy with the camera, pretty much plug and play. Very easy to use, has a color display and solid night vision and can pair multiple cameras. Only problem i have is that they put the adhesive pull tab for removing the protective film from the screen, directly on the screen. There is no protective film to remove at all. So now I have this strip of really tough to remove glue stuck to the screen.

My family loves this monitor! We had an older version of the same model, and since upgrading to this one, we've noticed a huge difference in screen/audio quality compared to both our older hello baby monitor as well as to other brands on the market. The battery life is also amazing and I don't have to worry about it dying if I forget to plug the monitor in overnight. I also love that this doesn't require WiFi. Makes it super easy to travel with, and the range is far enough that I've rarely had an issue with connection while walking on my 2 acre property. Definitely will continue to use hello baby as the monitors are very durable (essential when it comes to curious toddlers) and we have yet to have an issue with the cameras! We also have had a great experience with the customer care team. When our older monitor glitched, they were quick to respond and assist us in sorting through the issue, which was extremely appreciated!

Wanted to update my review because the company reached out to me and it was just a misunderstanding. Their reply got lost in my inbox but they were so kind and willing to make things right. They sent me a new unit and a full refund because they stood behind their product. Product is working wonderfully and we honestly use this camera more than our “fancy” expensive monitor. My favorite feature is that even if you have the screen on eco mode, the screen will automatically turn on when sound is detected. Their customer service is excellent which makes all the difference as well! * * * Worked well for almost 6 months, then the parent set stopped working. We can’t get the screen to turn on at all. We reached out to the company and they replied essentially asking if we were absolutely sure it didn’t turn on & asked for a video. I told them we had tried all the buttons, charging it etc. I couldn’t get the video to attach to the email and asked if there was some other way to get it to them. Never heard back :) The quality was good, I could for the most part see if baby was breathing (ftm) when zoomed in. We honestly had no complaints with it for the price until the monitor went kapoot. Seems too soon for a product to fail majorly like that.

This is the second time I order this monitor, because I accidentally broke the first one. I looked for other options but this has been the best. I tried hybrid cameras but they’re so unreliable, I was hesitant when first buying this since it’s Bluetooth only but it’s been perfect. The connection is strong, no buffering. I can sleep soundly while my baby is in his own room knowing I will hear him and can see him whenever he wakes up for a feed. Whenever I’m out and he’s being watched by the nanny, she can go all the way outdoors and the connection would still be solid. The only thing I prefer would be for the volume to be through buttons on the side instead of being on the screen only. Whenever my baby wakes up I reduce the volume immediately to avoid waking up my husband and it would be easier to do that with physical buttons.

The camera needs to be plugged into external power, while the monitor is rechargeable and holds charge for several days. It connects quickly and has been very reliable. The video quality is sufficient for its purpose, and the night mode works surprisingly well. There’s no noticeable lag in the video feed. The screen graphics do feel a bit low-resolution by today’s standards, but the image quality itself is clear enough for monitoring your baby, which is what matters. I do wish the pricing was a little lower and that there were more good non-Wi-Fi options available in the market. That said, for what it offers, this is a solid, dependable choice, highly recommended for parents who want peace of mind while finishing up chores.
