I have an older house with cable throughout, and wanted wired internet. This has worked great for me.Simple plug and play, compatible Gigabit Ethernet from my Verizon FIOS ONT I-211M-L MOCA.To support multiple locations, I'm using the MC84 and the MC85 variants, and both are working well.

Only had a few days but this is the BEST SOLUTION for slow internet speed.Tried mesh systems, wifi extenders....don't bother. This is the only product you need.My modem is upstairs, and would get 250 mpbs on a 360 plan.Main level drops to 100 or less. Basement 40. So frustrating. ISP suggested renting pods.Put this new Moca wifi in my main level attached to my TV cable outlet.(then cable provided out to my TV receiver. So TV works normally as before)NOW I AM GETTING WIFI SPEED OF 360 plus! in my main level & 300 plus in basement.Unbelievable!!My modem provided by ISP has MOCA capabilities so only have to enable it. No need for another moca.This MOCA system with wifi is the future. Mesh wifi systems archaic.Only downfall was set-up instructions not great.Yet figured it out as a novice computer guy.- Basically need to change your IP address temporarily to access MOCA dashboard and set wifi password.- then I changed back to access my modem dashboard & enable moca.(not sure about other settings in Moca dashboard but will figure out later as instructions don't suggest best settings)If u are looking for maximum wifi speed throughout the house, this is the only product you need!HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Hooked up my computer and my TV box, plugged it in, turned it on and everything is working awesome! I hope it lasts.

I found this to be a great solution to help cover an area of the house that was far from our main router where we were relying on finicky wi-fi extenders. This offers great download speeds which are fine for my purposes. The upload speeds are ok (and on par with the extenders I was using).Because it's more reliable than the wi-fi extenders, it's a perfect fit for my situation.
