Snowflake Softchip Horse Bedding Bale Approximately 20 Killograms

At first site I thought it is great bargain in good price. It came really quickly.Unfortunately it’s not the product that manufacturer is saying it will be. It says ,,approximately 20kg” which is lie (mine was way below, 18.5kg).It says it’s a good quality, safe bedding that have nice pine smell - it’s not. It is really low quality, has a shredded pieces of plastic bags, foil etc. and it smells of mold and fungus.And it is not safe as it is too spiky to even touch.I would not recommend unless it will improve it’s quality!!!And I would rather check the process of making them if I would be a manufacturer!

Horrible musty damp smell! I used it once but now I am going to throw the rest in the bin as I can't stand the damp smell! I don't like the thought of my guinea pigs on it.Waste of money! Do not purchase here go to pets at home instead at least it's fresh.

I took photos of this poor quality bedding but would not let me post, Ifound a lot of stones and plastic and silver foil in the bundle, i have 8 Guinea pigs and i had to take out plastic and stones and foil,

This is the first time I have had this and at first I thought it was great small animal bedding, so ordered a second one ready so I don't run out over Christmas, But now I am half way down the bag it has rubbish in it like others have had, shredded plastic, hard plastic. Very disappointed because I am having to pick them out, it is not safe for small animals. How does it get in there, do they not have quality control or checks.

Product came quickly, it’s super absorbent, it’s not like normal sawdust as this is more like thin little strips. Only criticism is that my bag came ripped and half taped with duct tape which I wouldn’t mind it being taped up if I had a full bag but it arrived with sawdust missing, as if it had fallen and spilled out.

The weather had been quite warm for the past 2 days so when I got it I did expect it to be slightly damp, which it was but it dried within a minute of putting it in my rabbit hutch. I've used this product for my rabbits before and have also used it for horses.

Sure, you can buy a similar sized bag at PetsatHome for £14.99. Though it's nice to support a privately owned business rather than an uncaring faceless corporation.Will definitlely re-buy this every 6 weeks for our rabbits over the next few years.

Don't expect fluffy wood shavings that fly away when there's a breeze. These will bed down firmly. Dust free and low odour. Used with show rabbits. Absorb urine well and no staining of white fur. Will use these again.
