"indications : store in a cool and dry place." why can't i leave this in my shower with the cap closed? and, can water get inside the bottle?

Also, as indicated the product must be placed in a dry area which means that the product should not come into contact with the water directly else the water can drop its effectiveness if the cap is not closed properly.
