Best insoles I've had for running with plantar fasciitis
Very effective and comfortable. Took a few runs to get used to the support in the insole, particularly the metatarsal pad, but once run-in, they feel absolutely great. Loads of support along the heel and cushioning with no PF pain at all. Will buy again.

Pedag excellence + extra bounce!
I was advised to wear insoles over 20 years ago. Since then I have tried quite a few, including NHS ones which were moulded to my foot, and a pair of rubbery 3/4 ones which cost under a tenner and were recommended by a leading podiatrist. They all have their uses. These days I mainly rely on Pedag 'green' insoles. These are made of fibres which mould themselves to the shape of the foot, and I find them quite comfortable. Over time, however, the fibres become crushed and you start to get a hard landing. When these Pedag 'red' came up on an offer I thought I would try them as the rubbery material promised a softer landing ... ... and that's what you get. Both 'green' and 'red' insoles have the proven Pedag plastic base at the heel end (see the photo). This base includes a rubbery heel cushion plus the Pedag 'bulge' at the mid-point. This 'bulge' gives the foot a pivot point which promotes a natural 'rolling' walk. (There is probably a technical term for this.) It feels odd to start with, but you soon get used to it and - for me anyway - it does help, especially with one of my feet which otherwise tends to plonk itself flat on the pavement without rolling much. At the 'red' front end you have the springy rubbery layer instead of the fibre layer on the 'green', and this is where runners will be happy, I imagine: you get a good bounce-back from this. If you run on the balls of your feet I would say this would work well. For me, for walking, I find that this bounce-back tends to interrupt my normal walking rhythm. Not disruptive, but a little bit odd. Over a couple of walks I have become used to it, but if you only want an insert for arch support (plus a mid-foot 'bulge') you may find the Pedag 'green' a better choice. I was surprised at the springiness of the Pedag 'red' insoles. Although they are not absolutely perfect for my walking needs I will continue to use them because they are well up to usual Pedag standards and do a good job. And runners will probably love 'em!

Love these!
I have about 7 pairs of these. I put them in walking boots, day to day boots, badminton shoes and my "around the house" shoes. Very comfortable and provide arch support, some metatarsal support and more forefoot cushioning than most other insoles. They last fairly well too.

Best insoles ever.
These insoles have been recommended by my doctor. He uses them as well. I work in a warehouse so I need to move around for 10 hours and my feet used to hurt a lot but with these insoles I have no more pain at the end of the shift. I have tried many different insoles before but these are exactly what I was looking for. Advice: buy the exact size to fit your shoes, do not cut them or they will not do the job properly.

Do a job but don't last long
So they definitely do the job they're advertised to do. I used to get quite bad Plantar fasciitis in my right foot and these insoles have definitely alleviated that. The reason they get 3* is because I've had them a month and they are already starting to fall apart. They're not really fit for use if you play sports. They might work OK for running (maybe). But the red top layer has peeled away and started to disintegrate and I suspect it won't be long before I need to throw them away. Not great considering they are £30. I would expect them to last much longer for that price.

Solved my foot problems
They are fantastic, I’ve not had aches or sore feet since I started using these 2 years ago. I don’t dislike anything about them but I stupidly ordered the wrong size last time and couldn’t be bothered changing them so I trimmed them to size and they’re still amazing.

Good support for feet and durable
Excellent product which has helped reduce the soreness in my feet when playing singles tennis. My only gripe would be the wear where the ball of my foot goes which has torn the surface mesh. Unavoidable I fear.

Cushion doesn’t last
Bought these for metatarsal support. Worked well for a few hours, but I found that after that, the metatarsal support wasn’t as strong and the padding got compressed. Returned for a refund.
