Merino Wool Ski and Snowboard Socks

Very nice winter/ski socks
Feel and fit great. Used them for skiing, skating and just slipping it into a regular winter boot and walking in sub-zero temps in January, in Minnesota.People complain that they don't last long. They won't if you live in them, every single day and you wear them around the house for hours. There are no sock that will last you "a long" time wearing them every day walking around the house. I use these ONLY when I ski or when I wear boots (of any kind) and then take them off when I'm in the house (I use a different pair of socks) . Light use walking around just with the these socks on. I've had a couple of pairs that have lasted me (still perfect) over two years. They're comfortable. I have huge calves and they hug my lower legs perfectly and just so snugly. I especially love these socks when I go skiing. Warm and comfortable. They stretch just under my knee so my entire inside of my boot is protected. I never had one single issue with these and I ski hard all day (when I'm out on the slopes). For the money, they are the best real wool socks (the highest percentage of wool).Very happy with them!

Smalls recommended for wm's size 7--comfy, warm socks
My only complaint with these was the sizing chart. I am a women's 7 to 7 1/2, and I ordered the medium, but they were huge. I sent them back and got the small, which fits comfortably. I think the small would fit up to a women's size 8 or 8 1/2 because they still had room to stretch, but they fit me fine. The good news is, they're excellent ski socks! Very soft, roomy, cushy, and breathable, and my feet never get cold and clammy. That's saying something, because my feet are almost ALWAYS cold and clammy, even at home! These make my feet feel like I'm wearing warm, comfy slippers all day at the slopes, and are one of my best investments in ski gear so far. So despite the sizing and having to send the first pair back, I'm still going to give these 5 stars because of how well they work as intended.

Extremely warm
Thick warm knee high but not too bulky to fit in shoes comfortably.

Warm, but not thin
Not what you want if you want ultrathin ski boot socks for good skiing performance fit. These are thicker and run a touch big. Fine for Nordic tour or snowshoe but not snug alpine boots.

Good for fall hiking
Haven’t had them in cold weather yet but work great and comfortable. Wore inside of rubber boots when out walking the woods in fall multiple miles scouting.

These are keepers!
These are wonderful! I tried other brands, and they failed miserably (too itchy, rough, didn't fit calf muscle, etc.) Then I gave these a go. These are keepers! They fit to the knee on me, which is a huge benefit for layering in cold temps. The fabric is soft, and appropriately thick: thick enough to be warm, but not so much to make shoes/boots fit tight. They also fit over my calf quite comfortably, which other brands have not been able to do! They are comfortable to wear and reasonably priced considering the sock length and high % of merino wool content. The azure blue is a brilliant royal blue shade that would look nice for guys or girls. I am definitely ordering more!

Warm as Toast!
These knee socks have high wool content, which I wanted for warmth, and seem to be really well made. I have only had them a few months, so I can't speak about durability. I read reviews though, and feel confident that I will not be disappointed by them. They fit well and are really comfortable. I don't think one could ask for more!

I thought it was a great sock
11/26/18 update: I have owned these socks for less than a year, and have only worn them for maybe two-three months total because it hasn't been too cold. I'm a bit sad about the integrity of the materials. After this short amount of time both socks have holes in the heels. I got in touch with customer service, and although they were friendly, I'm still a bit disappointed in the warranty. You have to pay for shipping, even if it's an exchange. And they may or may not find the pair to be worthy of the warranty in which it seems like you'd have to pay for shipping and then just buy a new pair altogether with a coupon. I like the idea and the price of these socks, but I will keep searching for a trusty pair.Tip: I ordered a Medium, I'm size 8.5-9, and they were a little too big.Foot size: 8.5-9 women's.Size ordered: Medium. These are some great socks! I don't usually spend almost $15 on a pair of socks but these are worth it! And they are cheaper than some other brands. They are warm, soft, cover your calf, and don't get sweaty or smelly!I wash them in the machine cold and always hang to dry. Have stayed strong for a month now!

Son de lana merino
Son realmente de lana merino y muy calentitas. He probado otras y no tienen el % de lana merino que dicen. Son las mejores

These socks are fantastic, however they only come up to mid calf ...
These socks are fantastic, however they only come up to mid calf so I wouldn't recommend them for skiing, aside from that they're amazing for the price and are warm enough for the winter!
