This thing is so cute. It purrs. And while it purrs, it lets out a little vibration so you get that purring feeling. Super realistic? Not quite, but it’s pretty dang close. It’s made well, sturdy, but still cuddly. My 6 year old got the urge for a kitten, but we’re both allergic. I decided to get one of these and she loves it! For $11 it’s a fun little kitten toy. It has an on/off switch on the bottom to save battery and keep it quiet if she takes it to school. But the sounds it makes aren’t super annoying - a little sleepy sigh sound and a meowing sound that isn’t repetitive or headache inducing.

I’ve purchased a total of 4 of these kitties (2 from local store), and I can’t tell you how much they love and play with them. One of my granddaughters even asked for another (different color - the calico) for her birthday! I also purchased (separately), a little portable baby doll bassinet and blanket to carry the kitty in. The “litter” is kinetic sand, and can be a mess if not contained (which is almost impossible), but it doesn’t seem to stain, just leaves sand debris. Also, the little sounds the kitties make is so cute! Battery life is also great! Size is perfect! They take them everywhere! I’m sure I’ll be purchasing the other varieties before long, as I am the BEST BAMA (I’ve been told) LOL. Super fun toy for little girls of all ages.

These are cute little kitties and my kids love them, but I wish it mentioned in the main description that 3 AAA batteries were required. Now I have go buy or order batteries, which I could have ordered with the kitties. Also, the package says 5 surprises. We received one kitten, one sheet of stickers, one baby bottle, and one kinetic sand. If 5 surprises are advertised, they need to include 5 prizes. The price is not bad for what you get, but put the correct amount of surprises in the pack and be more up front about the needed batteries so you don't have very disappointed little ones.

I don’t usually like interactive toys because our kids play with them once and never look at them again. This cat’s sounds aren’t annoying toys and sounds pretty realistic. My daughter loves how she can pet this one and it purrs as much as she wants without tormenting our real cat. Bonus is being able to choose which cat you get when you order on Amazon so we were able to get the one that looks the most like our cat.
