Very, very good quality
I wanna give them a 4.5 because the sound quality isn't, you know, $300 earbud quality. But I wanna give them their fair due because these are definitely the best earbuds I ever owned. I got them for Christmas 3 years ago on Black Friday at Wal Mart. Well 3 cats later, I had to refresh and I was really looking for something affordable with that bass I'm used to. I got super nervous ordering these after reading the reviews. They're the real deal, I think they might be an older model of the same thing because.my box says 2019. But I opened the box with a fine tooth comb to make sure everything looked good. And they're obviously Sony. They sound exactly the same and behave exactly the same. It's just the "power on" voice is different. I'm guessing it was made for retail outside of the western markets. It still says "power on" in English, just with an accent. My only complaint is I don't think Sony is manufacturing any more of these, so all the stock this seller has is gonna be the end of em. And I seriously doubt their cx100's are gonna even come close.

Sony xb400
I bought these earbuds because they were relatively cheap compared to high end ones. They are also good for extra bass and a good sound quality.

Seems I got a Chinese knockoff
I've had these headphones before, the woman's voice is now in a Chinese accent and there's noticeable audio desync.

Some Issues, but Nothing Too Bad
They have occasional connectivity issues (disconnecting and then reconnecting a couple of seconds later, which plays the voice saying "disconnected" and then "connected"). The plastic of the left earpiece after broke after a week or two of light use, plus being put in my bag. It doesn't affect the function at all, just aesthetics.I would have been fine with both of those, but I just don't think I am a big fan of necklace-type earbuds. If you only have one earbud in and move around or bend over, the other side will start falling down and have to be put back in place. For me, they also didn't stay in while running, even when I had both in. This might be because I prefer a smaller rubber earpiece, though. For both of those, the weight of the battery/interface makes them easy to get yanked down by gravity. As I mentioned before, I would've kept the earbuds despite the other problems if I did end up liking what I think is probably a reality of the necklace headphones. So, if the issues I mentioned don't bother you, I would recommend this product as "pretty good", though I would say it's a little expensive to be having the plastic break after a week. I would have given it 3.5 stars if that was an option, but I decided to round down since it wasn't.

I love these headphones!!! Bass hits as advertised!!!
I originally bought these 2 years ago at Best Buy and they lasted that whole time without any issues. I recently lost them and needed a replacement. Went to BestBuy and was told they no longer carry them so Amazon once again saves the day. Originally paid $49 at BestBuy but found them here for $35 so I hit that Buy Now button and had them here in a few days, no Prime shipping. I also have the Sony WI-C100s and there really is no comparison. The bass on the WI-XB400 hits just as hard as my last pair, noise cancellation is on point, battery life has been 10+ hours so far (says 15hrs on box), and I can once again listen to my audiobooks while I sleep. Also they are way easier to find in bed then than my ear pods when I wake up. If you can grab these, get them before they are discontinued.

My favorite headphones.
I’ve bought 3 pairs of these over the years (I use them nearly everyday) and they hold up well. The battery life is excellent and has plenty of bass and clean highs at this price point. The flaws with these are eventually the charging port won’t shut flush which isn’t a big deal honestly, one or possibly both of the rubber seal on the back of the buds eventually come off but don’t affect the sound or use at all. I’d still highly recommend them as they are very comfortable and harder to lose with the magnets that keep them safe around your neck.

Not Like My Original Pair
The voice is very different than my original pair. Not the typical pleasant Sony voice. You do not get an announcement of the battery percentage left when you power on. I experience disconnection and reconnection too much. The battery life is not very long at all compared to my original pair.
